2026 Boulder Junction Muskie Jamboree, Muskie 101. The Wisconsin DNR has a Muskie 101 class for people curious about Muskie fishing. The DNR talked about the types of lures and equipment along with tactics for fishing during the Muskie year. It is very interactive so the students get to ask questions along the way. In the afternoon the Boulder Junction guides take the students out fishing for Muskie so they have hands on experience casting and working the different types of lures for Muskie. We help answer any questions and hope are students graduate and catch a Muskie like are student pictured above caught and released his first Muskie!
