Black Drum Saturday

A fun trip with Connie K and her son Austin. We started the day catching numerous undersized red fish for warm up. We moved to spot #2 and as soon as the rods were casted the redfish were taking the baits. Connie and Austin both hooked and fought their fish to the net like pro's. We ended the day with 2 limits of reds and 2 trout. Hope to see this team back in the future for more fishing fun.

Russell B party of 3. It was their first saltwater fishing experience which they all handled like pro's, this trip was special because this was their daughters birthday trip. It was a hot day with little to no wind. We had a slow start but our third stop yielded several large redfish with two oversized Reds over 31". The trip ended with 3 limits of Reds with one of the oversized reds tagged and kept by the birthday girl along with a few bonus trout.

A two boat charter today fishing the Randy H group. We departed the boat ramp at 7:00 am, a cool morning with winds out of the NNE at 10 to 15 MPH. Once arriving at our first location the hooks were promptly baited with live shrimp under a popping cork and casted out. The fishing action started immediately with two in the group catching 2 slot sized speckled. The action continued through the busy morning with the the group keeping a total of 21 speckled trout, 2 Redfish, 4 Black Drum and 9 Sand Trout. There was several fish both undersized and just above the lower legal size limit released to catch another day. REMINDER! Flounder gigging will resume starting Dec 1st. The daily bag limit for gigging from Dec 1st - Dec 14th is 2 flounder per person (special pricing during this time). The daily bag limit will resume to 5 flounder per person on Dec 15th.
