Mixed bag under cloudy skys

It was a hot afternoon trip, but we found the fish on some deep edges using jigs and then later picked some on top water. Great group with lots of fun. We spotted a couple big reds, but weren’t able to come tight. We did being in a croaker or two as well. Summer patterns in full effect.

We caught between 20 and 30 fish in open water and in creeks with sizes ranging from 27 inches to 18 inches. The action was steady and we had multiple simultaneous hook ups.

We’ve gotten an excellent mix of large red fish speckled trout and plenty of striped bass and bluefish to keeping things interesting! Come on out and see what’s fighting
