From the moment we arrived at the dock Captain Dan made this an unforgettable experience!! I jokingly told him we were gonna catch the boat record!! We ended up with several 25 plus walleye and the biggest being over 28” and over 6 pound!! Also caught the biggest channel cat I’ve ever seen!! Great variety even tho we were targeting walleye. My son caught a monster drum as well!! The fish cleaning place said we had the biggest haul of the day!! Definitely doing it again!!!

first time walleye fishing and first time trolling. captain Dan explained everything we were doing and allowed us to do all we wanted to. at first he did all the work but as we learned Captain Dan allowed us to do everything thing with the poles and just stepped in when we screwed up. In short Captain Dan would have done all the work and let you just reel in fish or with us he taught us the hows and let us do everything except drive the boat.

Captain Dan Lemon is the MAN!! He is easy to talk to and get along with. It felt like we were friends for years. He can run that whole charter single handedly without skipping a beat. We wanted the whole experience, including baiting the lines and sending them out, handling the fish…everything! He was such a great, patient teacher. He was especially great to our 11yo son who was hit hard with seasickness. Captain Dan knew how to help and saved the experience for our son! He ended up having a great time and can’t wait to go again with Captain Dan! He not only was he a beast with the boat and trolling but he brought attention to points of historical interest, explained the manmade structures and how they worked, knew the birds and fish so well that we walked away not only with our max of walleye each, but knowledge and reverence for the lake, its history, preservation and its inhabitants. Our friend also caught a Fish Ohio freshwater drum and that was AWESOME! Captain Dan immediately helped our friend register the fish with the state! We can’t wait to go back out with Captain Dan again and again! *The walleye was the most delicious fish we’ve ever eaten! Captain Dan also helped me pick out the right freshwater drum to take home and try. It was quite different from the walleye (more like an oily pork chop) but man, it was good!!*

Captain Dan was excellent. It was our first charter ever and he taught us all a lot while engaging our 12 and 9 year old. Always working to get them on the fish!! He even comforted our 6yo who became nervous during some rough waters. Captain Dan was involved and constantly working to get us on the fish while being easy to talk to during slower fishing times. Would absolutely recommend him for a family fishing trip

Dan has a passion for fishing and an uncanny knack to find them , He’s quick to tell you FISH ON !! and the action was awesome, We limited out on waleye with time to spare, His knowledge of the lake and the surrounding area is surprising comforting , Prepare yourself for a great day of fishing , I would absolutely refer Reel Therpy to anyone, Thank you CPT Dan
