  Unbelievable day of catching! Captain Mike listened to our request on what we wanted to catch and the time we wanted to devote to Crappie and Largemouth Bass, and made it happen way beyond our expectations. Captain Mike showed us even more techniques than he did on our previous trip with him, and explained every detail of why he does it that way. We caught Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Channel Catfish, Blue Catfish, and Drum. Unbelievable day of fishing that we’ll never forget. We will definitely make a return trip from Texas to fish with Captain Mike.

  Captain Mike was incredible, he got us on fish before we totally departed the dock area. We are in our sixties and have been successful anglers our entire lives. Captain Mike shared some techniques that we were totally unfamiliar with, that immediately gave results, we can now take that knowledge home to Texas and use it. Captain Mike is all about passing on knowledge and providing an exceptional experience so much so that we booked a full day trip with him tomorrow. We’ll give more updated following our next trip.

  Our trip with Mike was a great part of our reunion.

  Mike is very friendly & well prepared. Some cold fronts that have passed through made the fish less cooperative. Mike's knowledge of Lake Ozark & his skillful use of sonar etc. allowed us to catch fish and make the day fun. In particular, I appreciated Mike balancing the need we had for coaching with his making our trip and our level of success a team effort. We used a variety of tackle and strategies. Mike filleted our catch. We had a great fish fry for supper.

  Captain Mike was an outstanding host for me and my son. We asked him to take us to fish for Crappie and that is exactly what he did. Caught lots of fish and he taught my son how to filet them after we were back at the dock. Ask him to play the “Captain Mike” song on his Spotify. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to enjoy their time on the water and catch some fish.

  Captain Mike is INCREDIBLE! From the monent we got to the dock to the moment we left the dock after the charter (with a ton of fish) he kept our whole family of 5 (with a 19 year old and teo ten year olds) entertained, engsged, and catching fish! I cannot recommend Captain Mike enough!!! We will be back every time we come to the Lake of the Ozarks!
