Not so good.
Andrew is a nice fellow but, it was not a great trip. The boat in the picture is not the boat he has, one of the reasons I picked this charter over others WAS the boat in the ad. His boat is a lot smaller than the one pictured. Also, He said his anchor had broken a couple days earlier and he forgot to repair it? So we had no anchor to hold the boat in one spot, and there was a strong current and wind. We drifted fast. We did manage to tie to a marker post for a while and catch two small keeper redfish. I talked to a different charter captain the day before and saw a two person limit of big trout he was cleaning for his clients. His client said He and his wife limited in an hour and then started upsizing as they caught bigger ones. When I mentioned my upcoming trip to the captain with Andrew he rolled his eyes, and gave me his card.
Sorry you feel the need to write a not so great review. We upgraded boats this year and I will not be taking down old photos including my old boat. If you look at my fishing booker page it list the size, make and model of my boat. Fishing is fishing one day can be great others not so much. We did very well for the weather and tide that day. We were one of very few boats out fishing in that weather. I will note we caught two snook this day as well which is a feat in itself for Texas waters. Photo included was two days before. Maybe next time you'll have better weather.
