Captain Ted and 1st mate Colton were a great team. They got us on the fish made sure everyone had a great time! I will definitely go out with them again! GREAT boat!!!
It was an epic day by my party's standards, but an "above average" day for Captain Ted's charter. Our age range was 12-77 and he made sure everyone was comfortable. Limited out on big ling cod, sea bass, and just about hit it in salmon and dungeness. Captain Ted has an amazing setup. Very comfortable and professional. He's flexible, has the knowledge and top of the line gear to do whatever type of fishing you'd like to do. However, I strongly recommend to be flexible and take his advice as to what and where the bite is. Trust me, he knows. Fishing with him is as comfortable as going fishing with your buddies but with incredible knowledge and skills to limit out. We even saw a giant shark for a few minutes breaching the surface as we trolled for salmon. Getting to the dock with our haul would've have been more than satisfactory, but he goes above and beyond by utilizing his top notch facilities to professionally cook, clean, fillet, and vacuum seal your catch. He even set us up with a "Tillamook Cooler" to keep our haul fresh until we got home to enough cooler space. You cannot go wrong with this charter and having been out several other times on the OR coast, I don't think you can do better. Thanks for a unforgettable experience Captain Ted and crew!
