Si vous prévoyez de pêcher à West Bay, ne cherchez pas plus loin qu'Easy Does It Charters. Ayant accumulé de nombreuses heures sur ces eaux, le capitaine Derron les connaît comme sa poche.
Des espèces comme le Thazard-bâtard, le Thon albacore, la Coryphène, le Vivaneau des mangroves, le Mérou noir, le Mérou rouge, la Gorette, le Marlin bleu, le Tarpon, et bien d'autres peuvent être trouvées dans ces eaux si les conditions sont favorables. Lors de ces sorties, vous pouvez vous attendre à pêcher à la traîne et à la pêche de fond en utilisant du matériel léger ou lourd.
Easy Does It Charters accueille les enfants à bord, alors n'hésitez pas à en faire une journée en famille ! Si vous n'avez pas de gilet de sauvetage pour enfant, assurez-vous de demander s'il y en a un à bord. N'hésitez pas à apporter vos propres collations pour un regain d'énergie en cas de besoin !
Vous vous retrouverez à bord d'un Larson de 21 pieds à console centrale avec de l'espace pour 4 passagers. Il dispose de downriggers et de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une journée productive sur l'eau. Vous trouverez des cannes, des moulinets et du matériel qui vous attendent, ainsi que des leurres. Des appâts vivants sont proposés, mais il est bon de poser la question pour savoir si vous devrez les attraper vous-même.
Un premier lieutenant sera là pour s'assurer que tout se déroule bien.
Le bateau de pêche encadrée couvre votre permis de pêche, présentez-vous simplement prêt pour la pêche ! Gardez à l'esprit que vous devrez peut-être relâcher certains poissons en raison de la réglementation. Demandez simplement et votre capitaine pourra vous en dire plus.
Quelques articles à apporter incluent de la crème solaire (non en spray) et des lunettes de soleil. Il y aura quelques boissons proposées, mais informez le capitaine si vous souhaitez apporter les vôtres. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, rappelez-vous simplement que vous avez un gros poisson à ramener !

My wife and I went with Derron and Jevon and had a great time. We fished multiple spots and caught quite a few fish. The keepers were a grouper, 5-pound lobster (Jevon dove for it!), and a 15-pound yellowjack. We ate the lobster for lunch at Morgan’s. The crew was very well-prepared and helpful. We probably had 10 snags and they just put on new hooks like it was no big deal. If you’re looking for a great captain at a reasonable price, this is your guy.

Excellent day on the water!!

Captain Derron was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and transparent from the start. Although the timing of our trip wasn’t ideal—marked by rain and unexpected high winds—he reached out the day before to manage our expectations and even offered the option to cancel. We chose to move forward, planning to simply enjoy a relaxing day on the water and take in the views.
To our delight, not only did we catch a surprising number of fish, but Captain Derron also suggested having them prepared for lunch at Morgan’s—which turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
We’re so thankful for the memories he helped us create during our vacation. Highly recommend booking with Captain Derron—you’ll be in excellent hands!

He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different types of fish we were catching, which made the experience even more enjoyable and educational. He brought us to a spot where he had success the day before, and sure enough—we caught several trigger fish!
Captain Derron cleaned the fish for us, and we were able to cook them up that evening. It turned out to be the best fish we’ve ever eaten—so fresh and flavorful. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, making the whole experience even more memorable. Highly recommend this trip for families looking for both adventure and relaxation on the water!

Even though we did not catch many fish we still had a Great time.
The Captain warned us of conditions that were not great for fishing but My wife and i chose to go anyway.
The captain went out of his way trying to find fish he even took us snorkling and swam with stingrays
He had a Great personality and we would for sure use him again
