La baie de Port St. Joe est réputée pour la truite de mer tachetée, le tambour rouge, le flet, le rondeau mouton, le grand tambour, le croupia roche, le mérou noir, le vivaneau rouge, la coryphène et bien plus encore – Avec un peu de chance et le capitaine Jamie à vos côtés, vous ne rentrerez pas avec de la glace propre !
Le jour de votre sortie, vous pratiquerez probablement la pêche de fond en utilisant du matériel léger à moyen ou la pêche à la traîne, selon les conditions. Le capitaine Jamie peut également vous emmener pêcher à la foëne de nuit ou à l'arc – n'hésitez pas à vous renseigner sur cette option.
Votre bateau pour la journée sera un Skeeter Bay de 24 pieds propre, propulsé par un Yamaha Sho 250 pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 passagers (gilets de sauvetage fournis), équipé des derniers équipements électroniques, d'un vivier, d'un système d'ancrage double Power Pole, d'un moteur de traîne Mini Kota Spot-lock, de ponts de lancer avant et arrière, et d'un T-top en fibre de verre pour vous protéger du soleil brûlant de Floride. Il dispose de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une journée productive sur l'eau.
Les cannes, moulinets et matériel sont fournis, ainsi que les leurres, les appâts vivants et votre permis de pêche. Gardez à l'esprit que certains poissons peuvent avoir des limites de capture ou des saisons fermées, cependant le capitaine Jamie vous aidera à respecter la réglementation pendant que vous pêchez.
Ne partez pas de chez vous sans crème solaire, collations (pas de bananes - ça porte malheur lol), eau en bouteille et lunettes de soleil. Si vous souhaitez apporter d'autres boissons, demandez simplement. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, assurez-vous simplement d'éviter les alcools forts ainsi que les bouteilles en verre.

We began the day catching our own bait. Then off to catch trout. While catching trout we saw sea turtles, sharks, and rays. We caught flounder, shark, catfish, trout, lady fish, and pretty sure we almost had a ray. The crew was so relatable and knowledgeable. We caught plenty of fish for fish tacos that night for a crew of 11. Would definitely recommend. We had one boy with us and the Captain showed him the way. He was the best fisherman aboard.

The captain was amazing with the grandson (10) as this was his first real fishing experience. The trip was cut short as we no longer were able to dodge the rain clouds. Would not hesitate to book again. It was an awesome afternoon!

We got our limit on reds and caught everything from sharks to flounder. Got a nice trout also. He was great with our family and is a good man.

Myself and my son are avid fisherman, but my son‘s best friend who we brought along on this trip had never fished before. Captain Jaime took him under his wing and showed him everything to do which meant the world to me and to him. If you don’t book a fishing trip with Captain Jaime, you are truly missing out. I will definitely be booking a trip with him the next time we’re down.

He has a great attitude with all his customers, very knowledgeable, patient and overall a wonderful captain! The boat is extremely clean and plenty of room to fish front & back deck. We caught plenty of trout & redfish thanks to him! We will be booking with him again - The best fishing charter we’ve ever been on!!
