We've been seeing great numbers of 25"-29" (With a couple going 30") throughout the spring and summer. As we currently approach fall, we've already had a couple of "Northers" bringing cooler temps in and marking the beginning of my favorite time of the year to catch these Trophy fish. We'll see even better numbers in the fall and winter as these fish start feeding aggressively ahead of and after cold fronts. With all of the small baitfish leaving the bay in lower water temps, Trout tend to be less picky and a little easier to trick on lures! We're looking to have a record year here in South Texas. The Saltwater Legend Series stop in Port Aransas was a huge success for my tournament team and I! We turned in a 2 day stringer good enough for 2nd place and $24k cash and prizes. We are definitely still on the Trophy Trout!

Trophy trout continue to be our main focus on wading trips with artificial lures. We're averaging atleast 1 or 2 of these large fish each time out. Plenty of Redfish in the mix as well! Grab your waders and lets go!

Redfish are schooling up food and have been pretty easy to target. As we approach fall, it's only going to get better. Come and get in on the action!

We've been putting some good numbers of specks in the boat as well as releasing some large "oversize" trout up to 27"!
