Mahi mahi are incredible fast-growing fish that can live up to 5 years in ideal conditions. Large females may produce close to 1 million eggs annually through repeated broadcast spawning events during the breeding season. Young mahi often school beneath floating debris, weed lines, buoys, and offshore structure, exactly the kind of areas we target when searching for active fish offshore.
