Nearshore is doing well

We have been lucky lately and our seas have been flat which is giving us the chance to get off shore some in these bay boats. Bottom fishing out to 10 miles has been excellent and we have been bringing nice catches back to the dock. We have also been catching some nice big grouper in the 40-50 feet of water. Mostly using cut bait , squid and some shrimp at times. We are still using some shrimp hoping to get a hog fish keeper but for the most part, the bigger hog fish have moved out deeper with the rising water temps.
