Holy Smokes Fishing Charters è un charter con una tradizione. Il capitano Dan è originario della Florida e la pesca fa parte della sua vita da quando ha memoria. Le sue specialità includono la pesca a fondo in acque profonde e la traina, e questo è solo l'inizio. Come membro della Florida Fishing Guides Association, ha più di 25 anni di esperienza nella pesca sulla costa orientale della Florida. Pescherai a bordo di una barca Mako da 28' con console centrale dotata di un motore Yamaha da 300 HP. Può trasportare fino a quattro pescatori ed è adatta sia per uscite costiere che d'altura. Tra le dotazioni presenti sulla barca Mako ci sono elettronica Raymarine, outrigger TACO Marine, una vasca per esche vive da 30 galloni e due downrigger. È inoltre disponibile una grande ghiacciaia per conservare eventuali snack o bevande extra che potresti voler portare. Sebbene la Mako sia costruita per garantire una navigazione fluida, le persone che potrebbero essere soggette al mal di mare dovrebbero considerare di portare con sé dei preventivi come precauzione durante le uscite più lunghe.

Se la pesca a fondo è la tua passione, ci sono molti Cernie, Snapper e Gray triggerfish a disposizione. Essendo qualcuno che pesca tutto l'anno, sarà sempre in grado di individuare il modo migliore per farti trascorrere il tempo, indipendentemente dal tempo o dalla stagione.
Non è necessaria alcuna licenza di pesca e il capitano Dan fornirà tutta l'attrezzatura e le esche necessarie. Porta con te degli snack, una macchina fotografica e, soprattutto, un atteggiamento determinato e preparati a salpare.

He asked us to get there a little early to head out and allow us more time to fish which is always a bonus! So my son and I got there early headed out and hooked some fish! Highly recommend to anyone it was well worth the trip.

Half Day Trip – Inshore (PM) il novembre 8, 2020 • 2 adultiStop searching through charter after charter trying to decide who to book! BOOK Captain Dan!! We are two “hillbillies” from WV who have never been on a charter boat before. We had no clue what we were really booking. I didn’t know the difference in “deep sea, inshore, river fishing, etc...” so here’s the normal person lingo on Inshore/River Charter... River/inshore means you’re still in the ocean (I’m blonde and didn’t realize this). You just don’t sail miles and miles out to sea. You’re close to the land, you’re not going to get massive sharks and 20’ long fish on this charter. However- you still see some AMAZING creatures and real in large fish, sting rays, and have a fight on your hands with these guys. You are NOT bored at any point on this boat. Captain Dan casts extra poles and lets you reel everything that is hooked in. He explains the ocean and gives you lots of stories and and makes sure you have the time of your life. He is a Florida native and gave us some great tips on places to eat and visit. If you catch a fish and want to eat it, he cleans them and recommends a restaurant that will cook your fish for you! He is very knowledgeable and I’m sure would be a great Captain for actual fisherman who know what they are doing as well as putting up with those of us who don’t have a clue and giving us the time of our lives. I’ve gone on lots of vacations and lots of excursions. I’ve been on a speedboat at Niagara Falls, swam with dolphins, snorkeled with sting rays, slid the slopes at snowshoe, and I have to say this could possibly be my FAVORITE trip! We will be returning with the kids in a few months and will definitely make this an annual trip!

He was easily relatable and just a good guy to be around. Best kept secret in New Smyrna and would feel guilty not leaving a good review - would rather have kept it a secret, but some just aren’t meant to be kept. Bid thanks and we’ll see you next April!

Our private fishing charter with Captain Dan was an outstanding experience from start to finish! He was incredibly accommodating and made sure everyone in our group was comfortable and having a great time throughout the trip. What really made the day special was the variety of fishing we got to experience. We weren't limited to just one style. He mixed things up and caught a great variety of fish, which kept the action exciting all day long. Captain Dan knew exactly where to go and was always willing to adjust the plan to give us the best possible experience.

Dan was awesome!! when did the half day trip for my sons 11th birthday and it was worth every penny, we fished three different spots and caught fish at all three locations , even had the chance to fight a shark a couple times “which was a first for my son and I.Dan was extremely knowledgeable about the fish and area. and whever you turned arround to grab a new bait he was already there with a bait in hand and would throw it on the hook and you would be back fishing instantly!!. Dan went above and beyond the whole trip making the experience even better,”” he even flayed and bagged the fish”. I highly recommend Dan, Thanks againg for am amazing trip!!!! We wil be back soon
