Exhilarating fishing opportunities await along Costa Rica's Pacific coast. Based out of the idyllic Samara Bay, you'll head off from the sandy beaches to the open seas, with the stunning fruitful green mountains behind. The waters here provide an even better opportunity to see something new, with huge Billfish and exotic smaller fish in abundance.

Captain Christian Chatard will be your guide for the day. A passionate angler, he spent 10 years fishing in France, before moving to Costa Rica to follow his passion to the extreme. Trips with Capt. Christian are not for the faint of heart. Be prepared go after huge fish who can take a long time and an incredible amount of strength to reel in.

Head up to 20 miles offshore to go after the biggest, most coveted fish. Marlin and Sailfish will leave you gobsmacked darting around the water tops, let alone when you catch one! Tuna and Mahi Mahi will make for a great struggle, too, and you'll get to take them back to shore. On inshore trips, go after tropical Snappers, Amberjacks, and the native Roosterfish. You're always in for a treat!

Aboard the 24' Boston Whaler center console, you'll have everything you need to give you the best chance of catching a prized fish. Powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine and assisted by the top-of-the-range navigational equipment on board, you'll speed off to the most productive spots on the water. With a livewell and tuna tubes to keep your bait fresh, and outriggers and downriggers on board, you'll have an advantage over the rest all day long.

When you thought the trip of a lifetime couldn't get any better: fruit, snacks, and drinks, including two beers per person, are included on all trips, and lunch will be provided on full day trips.
