Promise Ranch is a 1,300 acre family-owned ranch. Founded in 2000, owners Don and Misty Buckner know just how important a great day of Largemouth Bass fishing is! They've spent many years ensuring that their ranch is the number one destination for Bass fishing in Florida, and offer guests an incredible, all-inclusive angling experience. Whether you're an avid angler or are a total newbie, a trip to this ranch will show you what a great day of lake fishing is really all about.
You'll be guided on your trip by Schirra McDaniel. Born and raised here in Lake County, FL, he started fishing at a very early age, and is a full-time guide on Scorpion Lake. This means he knows exactly where the hottest spots around are! Thanks to Schirra's wealth of experience, it's not unusual for guests to land 20+ Bass on one half-day trip. He'll take you out to the best fishing grounds on board his 18' SunChaser pontoon, and will make sure you're equipped with top-notch rods, reels, lures, and tackle.
Promise Ranch operates a strictly catch-and-release policy, as they want to preserve this species, and allow plenty of guests to enjoy the battle that comes with reeling them in! Make sure you bring along your camera, because you'll want to record the picture-perfect moment of hooking a trophy-sized fish. Your captain will have everything else you need on board his vessel, including your fishing license. All that's left is to come on down to Promise Ranch for the Bass fishing adventure of a lifetime!
