My husband, son, mother in law and brother in law did the half day afternoon trip with Mike and his first mate Anthony. My son explained his trip as the best time ever! They brought back a ton of fish! And huge!

We had a great time on our charter with Captain Mike!! We booked the whole day trip starting at 6am, and it was so much fun. First, he touched base with us a couple times in the week leading up to our trip which was great because we were on vacation in another state and weren’t sure about the weather. The boat was a great size for our group and could have handled another fisherman or two easily. Mike got everything ready to go and we were out on the water right away. By 7am my son was reeling in his first fish! We had steady fishing the whole day and caught our limit of Walleye. We all had a great time and Mike was great at answering all our questions, explaining everything about the equipment to my son, and just all around making sure we were having a fun time. I highly recommend booking with Mike whether you are going out for a fun family trip or if you are a more serious angler, either way, you will have a great time!

Full day steelhead fishing trip

I have fished with Captain Mike on several trips due walleye, steelhead, and lake trout in the lake on his boat and have ALWAYS caught a limit of fish. I have caught several "Fish of a Lifetime" with Captain Mike, but this last trip for 1 on 1 steelhead fishing in the creek was truly one of the best days on the water in my life. I landed 7 steelhead, broke off another 6 and had over 25 legitimate strikes. The thing of it was, i saw 7 other fisherman all day and never saw a single other fish caught by anyone all day. His knowledge of the water and the fish in it was impressive to say the least. The best part though of the day was simply fishing with Captain Mike. Really just like fishing with an old friend. He took care of everything i needed and taught me a lot along the way. I highly recommend any trip with Captain Mike, especially the 1 on 1 steelhead trip.
