Halibut & Striper Trip
Full Day Trip – Private (6 MAX) il giugno 21, 2025

My son asked me to book a fishing trip for him and his buddies. Two of his buddies flew in from other States and had never fished on a charter boat before. I found the Delta Sportsfishing boat and decided to give it a shot. Steve and Jeff were great and made our trip memorable. We caught halibut, striper, batray and even a small shark. Let's just say we left happy and went home and had an awesome fish fry. I highly recommend Delta Sportsfishing.

My dad, my brother, and I went out today with Delta Fishing Charters for the first time. Both Captain Steve and Jeff the deckhand, were knowledgeable, hard working, and did a great job getting us on the fish. We fought tough conditions and brought home a cooler of fresh Striper and Halibut. We will definitely be back out there again with Delta Fishing Charters!

Nice trip, good catch
Full Day Trip – Shared il giugno 22, 2025

We got our halibut limit very fast, probably, faster then other boats from huge fleet on Sunday and we went for stripers. Once captain Steve found a school of baits we started fining for stripers. We continue catch and release after got or limit - stripers are great fighters. Thank you Steve for the trip. Once I empty my freezer I'll definitely go for another one.

Had a really fun and exciting time Halibut fishing with captain Steve and deckhand Jeff. The two were very experienced anglers and got us on fish in no time! I had my limit by 8 am and my boyfriend got his limit for the day as well. We had a great trip and can’t wait to go out with delta sport fishing for our next big fishing adventure. Thanks again guys!!

experience was great! Great conversation, great support from the first mate, knowledgeable captain. Was upfront about how a fishing was slow due to tides and the moon, but able to keep 5 fish for 6 anglers (threw back an additional 6 fish for being under the size limit so still had the thrill of hooking and reeling! great day on the water!

Sono stato introdotto alla pesca in giovanissima età e ne sono rimasto subito affascinato. Sono sempre stato attratto dall'acqua, ed è stata l'emozione di catturare un pesce grande a farmi tornare sempre per averne di più. Direi che ce l'ho nel sangue. Poter fare ciò che amo per vivere è un sogno che si avvera. Ora, non c'è niente che mi piaccia di più che vedere le persone pescare un pesce per la prima volta, catturare il loro pesce più grande in assoluto, o vedere un bambino prendere il suo primo pesce. Mi emoziono ancora oggi quando abbiamo un pesce in canna tanto quanto mi emozionavo 45 anni fa da bambino.

    Today's trip was all stripers, with limits for our clients plus crew. The Halibut on the other hand was a little tough to cone by. Bigger tides made it difficult to frt the Halibut to bite.

    Today I had a good buddy in town visiting from Tennessee, and we were lucky enough to hook up for a day of fishing. Got to go some spots I hadn't fished in a while. All in all it was a great day catching up and catching fish. Limits of Stripers and Halibut.

    Today was a slow day of fishing with lots of wind howling through San Francisco Bay. But, it didn't stop Wyatt from begging a beautiful Halibut that he says is now his personal best Fish. What a great sport fishing and tough conditions today.

    Today we had a small Family group who's son just graduated medical school and was leaving to embark on his new career as a Neurosurgeon. On top of a great group of enjoyable clients, the big ones were biting.

    Todays group was rewarded with excellent Halibut fishing. Scoring 6 limits up to 26 pounds. After making a few moves this morning, we quickly landed on the ones that were hungry and ready to take the bait. Our 6 clients went home with pounds and pounds of fresh Halibut. All before noon

    6/21: Saturday we had a fun group of guys that brought their positive attitudes with them and were rewarded with an excellent day of Halibut and Striper fishing on SF Bay 6/22: Today we had a light load of only two of our regular clients. Dan and Igor did a great job getting their limits of Halibut and Stripers, and I even got to get a few for myself

    The Striper fishing has been red hot this last week. While the big tides had the Halibut but a little on the slow side last week, this weeks tides are much better and the Halibut scores are reflecting it. What a great time to be fishing in the bay
