Capt. Roberto invites you on his 27' Imemsa center console. She's outfitted with state-of-the-art electronics, including a Garmin GPS and Furuno chart-plotter in order to put you on top of your target as quickly and efficiently as possible. You'll also have a live bait tank, a cooler for food and drinks, an icebox for your catch, and top-of-the-line Shimano fishing tackle. The boat accommodates 5 guests and everyone can fish comfortably at the same time. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome aboard and they'll be given life jackets, as well.
Capt. Roberto holds the record for catching the second largest Swordfish in the state of Quintana Roo, weighing in over 630 pounds! You can expect to target lots of Swordfish, as well as Sailfish, Tuna, Amberjack, Kingfish, Barracuda, Wahoo, Snapper, and more! Capt. Roberto will show you different types of jigging and popping, and you'll be able to troll for pelagic species up to 6 miles from the shore.
Your fishing license is covered by the captain's boat so you can come straight to the dock ready to fish. Just arrive 15 minutes before departure, bring some sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses and the rest will be taken care of. Capt. Roberto also provides beer, juice, soda, and water on all of his trips, including sandwiches and chips on full-day excursions.

Roberto e il suo secondo sono molto esperti e hanno il jigging nel sangue. L'esca viva è estremamente difficile da trovare in questa zona, il che significa traina, o pesca con artificiali o mosche. Se stare seduti a guardare il motore della barca trascinare artificiali vi annoia, il jigging è un modo attivo di pescare e può essere letale. Abbiamo prenotato un'uscita di pesca di mezza giornata, sapendo che nel pomeriggio a marzo ci sarebbe stato vento. Avevamo i nostri figli di 7, 10, 12 anni, io e mia moglie. Avevamo abbondante cibo e nessun posto adatto per conservare il pesce, quindi abbiamo donato il nostro pescato all'equipaggio. Abbiamo rilasciato un bel almano jack e un horse eye jack e diversi cernie più piccole. Abbiamo tenuto una bella varietà di cernie per il capitano e l'equipaggio. Abbiamo perso un paio di pesci più grandi a causa degli squali e del 'rocking' (quando un jack va dritto verso il fondo cercando riparo tra le rocce), poiché i jack più grandi tirano in modo incredibilmente potente. Ottima uscita con un capitano fantastico! I bambini hanno preso dei pesci fantastici!
Siamo arrivati in ritardo al porto a causa del nostro tassista, ma una volta arrivati siamo subiti usciti in acqua e abbiamo iniziato a pescare subito. Non abbiamo preso niente, ma non per mancanza di impegno: Roberto ha lavorato tutto il tempo, cambiando lenze e esche, e facendo tutto il possibile per farci prendere del pesce. Era molto esperto dei diversi spot e ci ha portato in ottimi posti per il jigging. Ho agganciato un barracuda, ma ovviamente non ho avuto molto tempo per combatterlo prima che mi tagliasse la lenza. Un nostro amico ha avuto 3 abboccate diverse e ne aveva uno grosso all'amo, ma uno squalo è arrivato e se lo è mangiato mentre cercavamo di combatterlo, e purtroppo non siamo riusciti a portarlo a bordo. Tutto sommato una bella giornata. Ricordatevi di portare un cappello, la crema solare e dei panini. Inoltre il jigging non è roba da deboli di cuore, assicuratevi di avere le braccia allenate! lol! Per il resto, è stata una figata.
Ci siamo ritrovati con Roberto e siamo partiti. Ho pescato con lui una volta in precedenza per tre giorni consecutivi e siamo stati sui pesci per tutto il tempo. Oggi è stato più impegnativo poiché stavamo facendo jigging e abbiamo catturato tre squali di barriera. Uno ha preso l'intero tonno che stava venendo recuperato. Non eravamo partiti con l'intenzione di catturarli oggi, ma è andata così. Roberto e il suo membro dell'equipaggio sono stati molto utili durante il processo di jigging e hanno assistito quando necessario. La sua conoscenza, esperienza e l'essere un buon custode delle acque rendono l'uscita di pesca degna di ogni centesimo.
Roberto e il secondo, anche lui Roberto, si impegnano moltissimo per farti pescare. Sia io che il mio amico abbiamo battuto i nostri record personali. Un'avventura davvero indimenticabile!
Esperienza fantastica con Roberto, andrò a pescare con Roberto al 100% anche in futuro. L'equipaggio sa davvero dove pescare! Abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza incredibile e indimenticabile, consigliato al 100%.
