It was projected to be very hot so Captain John suggested we leave an hour early, smart decision. The day turned out to be perfect for fishing. Captain John is a wonderful skipper and guide, great stories and he knows where the fish are. The bite was off the day before, but the day we went, we caught 54 fish in about three hours! Captain John and his wife cleaned and filleted the fish (in record time) and we had an awesome fish fry that evening. It helps that my son is a chef and knows his way around a southern fish fry! All in all, if you want to have a great day on the water, book a day with Captain John and Lake Livingston Texas Fishing.

On our trip it took about 2 hours to find the fish but it was not because they were not trying. We went to three or four spots.Once we found the fish me and my son almost limited out. And then after we got back they cleaned all the fish. I would definitely take a trip again. Best charter fishing experience I have had.
