He had great equipment and after just a few minutes we had out 11 rods waiting for the fish to bite. He shared his knowledge of the lake, baits, techniques, and tips for us to use in the future on our own boat. We didโt get to catch the infamous โlimit:, but still went home with plenty of fish for some nice dinners. We will be back to fish with him again at a different time of year for some bigger catfish!

Johnny got us on the fish quickly and they were steady the whole trip. We ended up with 63 keepers in about 4 hours, and shut down early as it was getting too hot out! We were staying a few mores days at Tawakoni, and the next day he called and said he had some live bait he caught for us to use as we continued to fish ourselves. Such a great guy and fun experience! Highly, highly recommend!!! We will definitely be looking to come back again!

My wife and I hadn't fished in 15 years. Johnny was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He took us to the good spots and we caught a lot of fish. He's the ideal guide for children, all the way up to experienced fishermen. Thanks Johnny! We'll be back...
