Had an outstanding experience fishing with Jacob on Lake Texoma! This was my first time with a striper fishing guide, and our group had a mix of experienced anglers and complete beginners. Jacob did a great job making sure everyone was involved, comfortable, and catching fish. The boat had plenty of room for everyone to fish comfortably, and Jacob was patient, professional, and worked hard to make sure we had a successful day on the water. THIS IS THE ONE!! If you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing experience, I can’t recommend Captain Jacob highly enough! This morning he took our eight grandsons out on a half-day guided fishing trip, and it exceeded every expectation. Captain Jacob was the perfect combination of professional, patient, knowledgeable, and fun. He worked tirelessly to make sure every one of the boys had opportunities to catch fish, learn new skills, and enjoy every minute on the water. One of the highlights of the day was when one of our youngest grandsons caught the biggest striper Captain Jacob said has been caught on his boat all year! You can only imagine the excitement—not just for our grandson, but for all of us. It made an already incredible day even more memorable. He gave us clear instructions to find his dock, was early, completely prepared, and knew exactly where to take us. He explained how deep to fish, what we were looking for, and made sure we knew what we were doing . He's super knowledgeable and easy to be around. We caught a ton of fish... but don't worry, we left a few out there for y'all. One thing I really appreciated was that he cleaned every fish, bagged it all up for us, and even gave us some tips on the best way to cook them. If you're looking for a guide, I definitely recommend Jacob. We'll absolutely be booking another trip!

Jacob was outstanding from minute one. Everything was ready for us when we showed up, and we were out on the water within 10 minutes. He was very professional detailing some of the finer points of striper fishing. He was also very patient with my 13 year old. Most importantly, he put us on the fish. At the marina at 5:45, and limited out by just after 9. We probably landed 50 fish total in that time. I would not hesitate to recommend Keepin it Reel (Jacob) to anyone who wants to do a striper trip and will certainly call him anytime we want to go again!

My 3rd time doing this and my best time ever on Lake Texoma with Jacob of Keeping it Reel. Jacob is a highly experience professional fisherman who absolutely knows what he is doing. He is beyond accommodating. He put us on the fish all day and when they stopped biting we husted to another spot and caught more fish- we caught our limit. It was so much fun, relaxing, and a much needed break ffrom the hustle and bustle of life. When we go again, we will be going with Jacob and Keeping it Reel!
