Effettuiamo le nostre uscite guidate tutto l'anno sul Lake Wylie, che si trova al confine tra North Carolina e South Carolina.
Il lago ha un'abbondante popolazione di pesce gatto blu, alcuni dei quali possono superare i 60 libbre! Crappie e white perch sono altre due specie di pesci abbondanti e divertenti da insidiare.
Peschiamo principalmente da una barca Lund deep-V di 21 piedi che può trasportare fino a quattro ospiti comodamente e in sicurezza. È un'imbarcazione che naviga dolcemente e rimane asciutta anche nelle giornate più ventose sul Lake Wylie. Per alcune uscite in acque basse durante la primavera, peschiamo da una Carolina Skiff di 19 piedi.

Dieter was excellent and gave them a fishing trip they will remember for a long time! This was a birthday gift for my 15 year old and 17 year old boys. They were able to learn more about fishing and tips for catfishing!

Captain Dieter was a ton of fun to hang out with. He knows his stuff, answered all of our “rookie” questions, and is an excellent conversationalist to boot!! A++!!! I highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

Four were over ten pounds and two were right at 20 pounds. We highly recommend this guide!!!! You will have a great day on the water with him. We did and will be back.

17-pounder , two 16-pounders , one 10-pounder & several 7-9 pounders !! as good as ut gets !!! great Captain ..wonderful , entertaining abd obviously a CATFISHOLOGIST ...had a blast !!

Dieter Melhorn is a hard working captain who knows his business. We all had a great time and caught a bunch of fish. Will definitely book with him again.
Capt Dieter did a great job of getting all 3 of us in our party to catch blue catfish, perch and crappie! Had a great morning trip on Lake Wylie in late February. The next time I am in the area I will book another trip with Dieter Melhorn
