Their was 6 adults and 1 had done this few yrs ago with another charter. This was a great first experience for 5 of us! We did the 5am 6hr trip and loved it!! Captain Scott and first mate Alan was everything we needed! They knew right where to take us! We limited out in 2 hrs!! It was perfect!! Oh and the 1 that had done this previously raved how nice the trip was!! Would definitely go with these guys again!

Great outing shortened by incoming storm

This was my second trip and Captain Mike pre-warned me that a bad storm was coming and gave me the option to cancel or proceed with the trip. I decided to proceed and Captain Mike and First Mate Jim worked very hard. We did catch a few fish as shown in the picture but did not catch our limit due to the incoming storm. I would highly recommend Makin Waves and will continue to use them.

    We made great family memories fishing Lake Erie from Ashtabula. The weather cooperated and so did the fish 🐠. The captain and first mate handled all the lines efficiently and maximized our catches. They went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. We will be talking about this trip for a long time.

    Great time early success then tapered off Captain and crew worked hard to get us on fish June 1st. Just a little early for great fishing but my son and I had a great day together

    Mike put us on fish within 5 minutes after the first lure was wet and we where on fish the whole time we where on the water. Mike and Jim never got a chance to take a break, the didn’t stop working to make sure we had lines in the water and fish in the net…… Great Day for all!!! We will definitely be back!!!! God Bless

    Perfect day out with Captain Scott and first mate Mike. The fishing was amazing and the crew was patient with my boys. We did the charter for my husband’s birthday and it was top notch! Would highly recommend and we will be back next year for sure!

    This was probably the best Walleye trip that we experienced. Captain Mike and First Mate Eric were knowledgeable and very hard workers. We fished for 2 and 15 minutes and met our limit. I would highly recommend Makin' Waves for a Walleye charter.

    The weather wasn’t the best for after a storm, but the crew worked very hard to find the fish. Slow to start, crew keeped searching setting up taking down, moving and doing it all over again. Went through about 1/2 of a tank of gas, once we found them, we slayed them four about an hour, almost got our limit for six people. This had nothing to do with crew, just the weather. Will definitely be doing this again. Thanks for a great time, our kids loved it and will remember this for awhile.

    Great trip,captain scott is very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing lake erie! We got into fish as soon as we set gear,and stayed in them till we were done. If you want a successful,fun lake erie fishing experience call scott at making waves. I will definitely go out with making waves again.
