Sneads Ferry, NC, Stati Uniti

Catch your next big trophy fish with OMC Fishing Adventures! The experienced and knowledgeable crew will use their skills to put you on fish and help you have a day to remember. All trips start at Sneads Ferry, NC, and are available year-round. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to this sport or you’re already hooked, as the crew pays equal attention to every guest. There’s always a new fishing trick to learn or a new fishing spot to visit.

It all starts on a 31’ Pursuit boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This center console is powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and reaches the speed of 45 knots, so you can count on reaching your spot fast. The boat features trolling gear, a live bait tank, and navigational electronics.

The trips are as versatile as fishing itself, so you can try out all kinds of approaches. From relaxing inshore fishing, to offshore adventures that will put you on big game species. It’s all hands-on experience, so you won’t be just a spectator - take an active role, feel the lines getting tighter, and start reeling in! Some of the species you can go after are Red Snapper, Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, and many more.

Your fishing licenses and equipment are covered by the crew. The mate works for tips, and a 20% tip is customary. You’ll need to bring your food, drinks, and pack some sun protection to avoid sunburn (please avoid using spray sun screen on the boat).

OMC Fishing Adventures is on a mission to give you the ultimate fishing experience. If you dont see the trip you desire, just ask and we will try and make it happen.

Full day offshore with Captain John
8 Hour Trip – Offshore il August 9, 20235 adulti
I can’t say enough about Captain John & his mate Zack! We started the day off with a warm greeting & introduction from both. Captain John had a plan for the day which definitely panned out! We started with trolling where we did catch fish. Then moved to bottom fishing. Captain John kept us on fish all day! Zack was amazing he was baiting hooks, guiding us while reeling the fish in, taking fish off the hook, & cleaning the boat! It was very impressive!! They were both very personable & had a great sense humor! Myself & the 4 others in my group highly recommend OMC Fishing Adventures! We definitely can’t wait for our next trip with them!

John & Zach Were Great
4 Hour Trip – Offshore il May 29, 20245 adulti1 bambino
Luck of the draw… We had beautiful weather the day of our outing but the fish just weren’t biting. We caught a couple of King Mackerel and a couple of Blues but overall the trip was a good time. John (captain) and Zach (mate) were super cool and made the trip enjoyable. Would definitely book again and hope for more cooperative fish. 🐠

Not the best experience
4 Hour Trip – Offshore il July 30, 20254 adulti1 bambino
This was my first time offshore fishing. The day started with the captain telling me 4-5 times that “too bad you booked a half-day trip” “A 3/4 or full day would be much better if you want to catch fish.” Right off the bat, I felt like he wasn’t excited about having us there and was already assuming that we wont catch much. I’m sorry but if you don’t like taking 1/2 day trips don’t offer them. But since you do offer them maybe have a few spots picked out that are manageable for half day trips. Once underway, we stopped to catch live bait. We hauled in quite a few and then we were off. When we go out we started trolling dead bait because we were told we could cover more ground faster. After trolling for an hour with nothing to show, we finally got a bite. It was a tiny mahi. We asked the captain why we weren’t using the live bait we stopped to fish for and we were brushed off with “we can cover ground faster with dead.” “Once we find the fish we can use live.” I am not a captain of a boat or a deep sea fisherman but I do fish a lot and if the fish aren’t biting what you are throwing out, you need to change your bait, location or both. We did not do any of the above for the entirety of the trip. We also had a couple instances where the first mate was not checking the bait regularly and we were trolling along with half eaten bait. Not the best way to catch fish. We caught 3 total fish during a half day and 2 of the 5 of us never touched a pole. 1 of the kids fell asleep on the boat while we were trolling. I guess it wasn’t a total bust but the crew of the boat didn’t seem interested in our party or our fishing trip at all. They were more interested in discussing whether or not they would come back out fishing once our trip was over. If I ever go offshore fishing again I hope the experience is better than this.

I apologize you guys didn’t like your trip. We have been doing this a long time and I know some people don’t understand what or why we do things. The ocean has been extremely HOT this year and the 1/2 days have been tough. That being said it’s better to troll dead bait to cover ground and once found, we could hone in with live bait. I was only trying to recommend the best opportunity to get you guys on fish. Being someone who does this for a living and always on the water, we know the best way to find these fish. I will own my mates downfalls, he is new and I’m teaching him. Time on the water together will only make us better. Once again we regret to hear you guys weren’t pleased. I can assure you we love having people out and work as hard as we can to find fish for all of our clients. My reviews show exactly that. Once again we apologize we didn’t meet your expectations. Capt. John
