La sua missione è fornire un'esperienza di pesca sicura, educativa e divertente nel grande Oceano Pacifico intorno a Garibaldi, Oregon. Non importa se si tratta della tua prima esperienza in altura o se sei un veterano esperto, il Capitano Andy e il suo equipaggio ti faranno trascorrere un bel momento indipendentemente dalle tue conoscenze o abilità di pesca. Il Capitano Andy e la sua barca, l'ALJO, sono ambasciatori di Furuno, Uflex, Nomad Design Tackle, AllSalt Maritime, Burnewiin e Smak Plastics. Questo JAMA Offshore Rage da 35 x 12' è stato costruito nel 2022 ed è dotato di elettronica all'avanguardia con tecnologie che non sono ancora arrivate sul mercato. Le murate alte garantiscono sicurezza mentre si pesca a 360 gradi intorno alla barca. Questo permette di avere oltre 70 piedi di spazio sul ponte per pescare, che è più che sufficiente per un gruppo di 6 persone.
La sicurezza è la priorità numero uno dell'equipaggio. Le caratteristiche di sicurezza dell'ALJO includono: una zattera di salvataggio per 8 persone, giubbotti di salvataggio offshore dotati di luci e fischietti, giubbotti di salvataggio autogonfiabili idrostatici Mustang, una radio VHF portatile e altro ancora.
Durante la vostra uscita di pesca, potrete pescare Rockfish, Halibut, Albacore, e Lingcod. La scelta delle tecniche che potete utilizzare è ampia, tra cui light tackle e pesca pesante, pesca a fondo, pesca d'altura, traina e jigging.

Limited out on ling and rockfish. Andy made it fun and left us wanting to come back. The boat is spacious and modern. Great tackle. We were cancelled by the coast guard the day before because going across the bar out of Garibaldi was not possible due to weather. Andy kindly explained everything and even apologized but obviously no one can control the weather. He communicated all of that the day before with a personal phone call. We regrouped and scheduled for the next day. It was a blast. I would 10/10 recommend Pacific Offshore Charters to anyone!

We had a great day on the water. The crew was organized, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone on board got into fish. The captain knew exactly where to go — we were on the bite within minutes and stayed steady most of the trip. They kept the boat clean and ran things safely and efficiently without making it feel rushed or scripted. I’ve been on a few charters before, and this one stood out for how dialed-in the operation was — good communication, solid gear, and plenty of action. We came back with limits of rockfish and a few nice lingcod. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, well-run bottom fishing trip off the Oregon coast, this is the one I’d recommend. Great people, good fishing, and zero fluff — just a really solid day on the ocean.
Captain Andy and Jim went above and beyond for us. We started by catching sand dabs for bate after dropping crab traps. these were fun to catch and soon we headed for the cod fishing area. he said it was slower than it had been but they did all they could to help us catch fish. the cod were nice size . Captain Andy kept us out a little longer to try to get our limits.
I hope to fish with you guys again. it was a pleasure.

We took our 3 kids fishing (12,12, &5). The captain was very knowledgable and helpful! Great experience- so many crab! Seasickness is very real, the license fees add up ($30+each), and you have to pay to get your fish cleaned. Just a couple things to make note of.
