Nasty Habit Sport Fishing 

We had an exceptional trip today. Captain Joe and First mate Courtney hosted us aboard their boat with grace, amazing efficiency, and friendly conversation. The boat is well maintained and exceptionally clean! The cabin space is very comfortable with big sofas, air conditioning, and all the drinks and comforts you need for a pleasant day on the water. We caught 2 fish today which is great for this season. We had some teenagers on the boat with us and the crew allowed them to handle all of the chair and rod time and gently taught them all of the proper techniques for landing big fish. We will definitely go out with this boat again.

Great captain and crew! This 51ft boat has an awesome fly bridge and an A/C cabin. We kept cool and extremely were comfortable, even in the August heat. Caught Ono (wahoo) and used their recommendation for a local restaurant that cooked it up...amazing, doesnt get any better or fresher than that!

Captain, crew, & boat were great. Even though the fish weren’t biting it was still a great day. Very professional and great at communicating. They changed tactics, baits, and locations trying to find fish as well as reaching out to other boats.. there was no lack of effort the fish just weren’t biting for anyone. Highly recommend the Nasty Habit for your next Kona charter

The experience was great from the get go. Received a phone call the night before to go over any questions. Greated in the morning at the boat, Captain and crew were ready to go (no waiting around like we have had with others). Friendly fun experience. Boat and gear were with out a doubt cared for. AC was amazing. Great way to cool off. Most importantly fish in the boat and smiles on the faces! Couldn't recommend Nasty Habit enough. Thanks for the great time!

While in the parlance of competition fishing, we were 301, the 1 was a beautiful 125 lbs. blue marlin that put up a great fight for the enjoyment of not just the angler in the chair, but the whole boat. Capt. Joe and 1st Mate Courtney were our expert hosts and a pleasure to spend time with on this expedition on a beautiful day off the Big Island. "Nasty Habit" is highly recommended.

What a great time out on the water with Captain Joe and Courtney! They worked hard to make sure we had a good time. 2 beautiful blue marlins and awesome views of the island all morning.

We had an amazing time with Captain Joe and Courtney! Caught an ono just minutes after taking off and another about an hour later as well as a skipjack tuna awhile later! Saw pilot whales, rays, and a tiger shark! Boat was very nice and Captain Joe and Courtney couldn't have been nicer! Cannot recommend enough!!!

Joe and Courtney were amazing!!!! We will definitely be back on this boat. They keep the Nasty Habit in top notch shape. Very family friendly. Probably the cleanest fishing boat I’ve ever been on. They were SO nice and know what they’re doing! My son had a blast, thanks for the fun experience!

The fishing wasn't what we hoped it would be. No bites, nothing on, nothing caught. We hit the water after a very windy day in the wake of Hurricane Dora. That Captain did his best but the fish just were not biting. This was a family trip with our teen and young adult kids. It was quality time on a beautiful boat and with a very lovely crew. I would try this trip again with Captain Joe. I'm sure we would have better luck next time.
