Purple Heron Charters organizza uscite di pesca tutto l'anno e a tempo pieno da Key West e vi offre la possibilità di scoprire cosa hanno da offrire la pesca locale e l'ecosistema.
Il Capitano John farà del suo meglio per assicurarvi una giornata divertente e ricca di pesca. È specializzato in spinning, pesca a mosca e pesca a vista. Tutto per farvi abboccare il pesce. Questo prevede uscite di pesca da 4 a 10 ore, principalmente mirate a Bonefish, Spigola, Squali, Pompano, Barracuda, Tarpon, Snapper, Permit, Jack e Cernia gigante atlantica, a seconda della stagione e delle condizioni del giorno.
La vostra avventura inizia a bordo di uno skiff Dolphin da 18 piedi alimentato da un Mercury 115 Pro XS che può ospitare un massimo di 2 pescatori. La barca è dotata di ghiacciaia.
Tutte le canne, i mulinelli e l'attrezzatura terminale sono inclusi nel prezzo, così potrete concentrarvi su ciò che conta davvero: la pesca. Il capitano fornirà tutte le licenze di pesca necessarie per la vostra uscita. Potrete tenere tutto ciò che pescate, purché sia legale farlo.
La barca sarà fornita di acqua potabile in lattine di alluminio riciclabili per il vostro piacere. Assicuratevi di far sapere al capitano se avete domande o se volete portare la vostra.

Shark Attack!!
Afternoon Half Day Trip il November 27, 2025 • 2 adulti
Our backcountry fishing trip in Key West was absolutely unforgettable. We were on the fish nonstop—catching them until our arms were genuinely tired. The highlight of the day was watching my daughter battle and land a huge blacktip shark, and the captain was incredibly patient and encouraging the whole time. On top of the great fishing, we also got an awesome history lesson about the area that made the trip even more memorable. Beautiful scenery, nonstop action, and a captain who truly knows his stuff. Highly recommend!

Addicted To Bonefish Now
3/4 Day Trip il July 2, 2025 • 1 adulto
Went out with John for a 3/4 day trip targeting Tarpon, Permit and Bonefish. Weather was beautiful but not the best conditions for sight-fighting and targeting these species. Regardless of the conditions, John was able to get me on the Tarpon and Bonefish; he has an incredible acumen for reading the tides, and finding the best areas for fishing success. In addition, John was a great instructor as well, constantly giving tips and instruction on when/where to cast to get the best chance at a strike. Even when the fishing slowed down the wildlife was filling in the blanks, saw plenty of sharks, dolphins, rays, and Tarpon spitting hooks back at me.
Highly recommend John, and will seek him out again in the future for fishing in Key West again.

Full Day Marquesas Keys Trip il December 30, 2025 • 1 adulto
Me & my buddy had a real blast getting out with Captain John for a day on the flats. He was super flexible with us, and did a great job showing us all the different types of terrain within this Fishery. We got into some nice fish, and walked away with knowledge and stories to last a lifetime. Great to find a guide who still cares about the right things.

First tarpon and bonefish!

Had a great trip on Sunday, May 18th. My goal was to catch a tarpon and a bonefish, and thanks to John, I accomplished both. Also, I caught the tarpon on a fly! John did a great job of putting me in position for success. He is not only a wealth of flats fishing knowledge, but educated me on the incredible ecosystem of the Keys. John is also very conservation oriented, which I highly respect. I recommend John and will definitely be fishing with him on our next Key West trip!
