C'è un pesce con il tuo nome a Nags Head e JW Charters ti aiuterà a catturarlo! Avendo accumulato molte ore su queste maree mutevoli, il Capitano Jonathon può raccontarti tutto su di esse.

Queste acque sono conosciute per Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, Pesce serra, Black drum, Striped bass, Spanish mackerel, Black sea bass, Grey Tiggerfish e altro ancora – con un po' di fortuna, non passerà molto tempo prima di sentire 'In bocca al pesce!'

Durante queste uscite di pesca, potrai pescare a traina e a fondo utilizzando light tackle o pesca pesante. Per i più avventurosi tra voi, c'è la pesca in apnea e la pesca con l'arco (dovete portare la vostra attrezzatura).

Stai pianificando un'avventura in famiglia? I bambini sono assolutamente benvenuti, assicurati solo di portare un giubbotto di salvataggio per loro se pensi che non entreranno in uno dei miei. Inoltre, ricorda di portare degli snack in modo che nessuno diventi scontroso a stomaco vuoto!

Il Capitano Jonathon opera su un May-Craft da 20' con console centrale che può ospitare fino a 4 passeggeri. È dotato di tutto l'essenziale. Canne, mulinelli e attrezzatura sono pronti per te, insieme alle esche artificiali. L'esca viva è inclusa, ma dovresti chiedere al capitano se la catturerai tu stesso.

La barca charter copre la tua licenza di pesca, quindi tutto quello che devi fare è attendere con impazienza la tua uscita di pesca! Tieni presente che alcuni pesci potrebbero avere limiti di cattura o stagioni di chiusura. Basta chiedere e il tuo capitano potrà dirti di più.

Non dimenticare di portare occhiali da sole, crema solare e acqua in bottiglia. Se desideri portare altre bevande, chiedi pure. L'alcol è consentito con moderazione, purché si evitino i superalcolici e le bottiglie di vetro.

A great trip as always

3rd year with John and will continue coming back. After allowing us to push our charter a few days in search of better conditions we went near shore looking for Trigger Fish but unfortunately weren't able to find them this time. We did get some keeper black seabass however including my personal best jumbo. As always John is great with my son who is 9 now and each year he spends more time catching fish. We ended the day up on the Bonner Bridge pilings looking for Sheepshead but unfortunately couldn't land any. We will be back next year, if not sooner, to set out with John again!.

Started slow and finished strong

6 Hour Trip – Inshore/Nearshore - 1:00 PM il August 4, 2025 • 3 adulti

My son and I have gone with Captain Jonathan before during our trips to the OBX. He has always been knowledgeable of the good spots and we have not come back disappointed. Not much action at the beginning of the trip trying to catch some spotted trout but the second half of the trip was the exact opposite with several large blues and some nice keeper red drum. On the way in Captain Jonathan spotted an area that looked to good to pass up so we did a little overtime and caught a few nice red drum. We are already looking forward to our next trip with him when we come back next summer.

Absolutely cannot say enough about Capt Jon! He truly listens & cares about what his customers want & goes out of his way to make it happen! I wanted reds & speckled trout and was able to catch many...several reds over 30"! Capt Jon is knowledgeable, experienced & just an overall great person. I had an awesome time & can't imagine it being any better! And I have been on many fishing charters. This was the best! Also Capt Jon went out of his way several times to help me when I had a vehicle breakdown on the side of the road! He selflessly & generously came to pick me up & assist personally with getting the issue resolved. And then was very gracious about rescheduling my fishing trip with no notice & then went out of his way to make sure I had a great time & could catch everything I wanted. HIGHLY recommend Capt Jon & JW Charters and cannot wait to book my next fishing adventure with him. Look no further! Go with JW Charters! You won't regret it!

First attempt at Blue Fin - Memories for a Lifetime

6 Hour Trip – Inshore/Nearshore il April 3, 2026 • 2 adulti

we have been going out on our vacations with Jonathan for several years - usually later in the summer. We took a spring trip this year and targeted Blue Fin for the first time . Jonathan and first mate Sage didn’t disappoint. we hooked a nice 100 pound Blue Fin about 30 minutes in. My son and I both got a good workout. We hooked a second one about an hour later. A great trip again.

John was very prompt and had us prepared before even meeting. Once we took off he hit a couple holes to gauge the day and then started trolling. The heat appeared to have everyone catching them slow, but he was constantly looking and trying different things. We had a decent day but do feel like it could have been bad with another captain. John seems to know the area really well and was helpful throughout the half day trip. We’ll book again but next time will do a 6 or 8 hour tour. Great boat and equipment for the 4 of us!

Thank you Justin I appreciate the honest review it was a slow bite and didn’t get lucky with a cobia or a drum but I’m glad with came home with some Spanish mackerel!
