Flexible and Fun

Mangrove 2 hour trip for Diana Karas il April 22, 2026 • 2 adulti

My son (14) and I scheduled a trip with another captain, but that trip got canceled due to weather. I scrambled to find another trip out, before the windy weather, and that one got canceled due to a busted engine before we headed out. In the meantime Captain Ricardo was super responsive as I searched for options and worked so we could still get out before we left. While we couldn’t go off shore as we originally planned, we had a great mangrove fishing trip out of the wind. He and Deb worked hard to make sure we got some fish!

Great Experience

Mangrove Fishing il December 29, 2025 • 5 adulti

The boat is in really good condition and modern, clean and comfortable for an older family of beginners. Captains Ricky and Debbie and were amazing, they were very patient with teaching first-timers, and very friendly and pleasant. Debbie taught us the basics and was very hands-on. We could feel that they genuinely loved what they do and they were helpful for the full two hours. As beginners we caught several fish. Water was offered on board and they had great equipment and live bait. They went above and beyond with moving to different fishing spots to make sure we could grab something. The tiki backyard has a bathroom before departure. Ricky was great at communicating scheduling conflicts beforehand and is bilingual in English/Spanish. We would definetely book again!

Highly Recommended!!!

Half Day Trip – Offshore (AM) il February 14, 2026 • 4 adulti

We were 1st timers, but Ricky & Angel were patient & extremely knowledgeable. They helped every step of the way & we ended up bringing in 16 yellowtail snappers! They did filet & ice the fish. We took the recommendations of bringing it to a nearby restaurant to have cooked & shipped the rest home! We will absolutely return!

Fun morning with a super capt

In spite of some emergency family issues, Ricky managed to keep our charter with only an hour delay. He was both knowledgeable and personable, answering our many questions as we learned new techniques. As a bonus, he remembered to take photos and videos which we would have forgotten. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again!

Mangrove Fishing Trip il December 22, 2025 • 3 adulti • 2 bambini

My family and I did a 2 hour charter with Ricky. My 4 & 7 year olds had a blast and we did as well. The boat was very nice, almost new. They were very easy going, provided all equipment and helped us catch 6 fish. They cleaned the fish for us and we were able to enjoy them at a restaurant shortly after. Would highly recommend!
