Jill Louise Headboat – 50' Evans 

captain Dave and Cole were awsome. had 4 grandsons age 7-11 and all caught fish. 29 total. Cole was great explaining how what and why to the kids with everyting he did. and he worked his butt off keepin up with all the fish they were catching. boat is great, smooth ride and roomy. even later in the day when waves started getting large it was great. overall awesome first ocean fish trip for grandsons.

I didnt get both sides of the story but if half of what I heard is true fishingbooker should be ashamed of blocking this great boat and crew from being booked on their site. I understand guide/customer disputes are difficult but blocking a service this good is a travesty.

10/10 would recommend! We went out for a halfday inshore trip and the fish were biting. Huge shoutout to Cole, who was an awesome deckhand and kept us entertained the whole time. OBX has a lot of charters, but we've officially found our go to for next time! 🐟 🐿️

Captain put us on the fish at the first stop. Caught lots of triggerfish. Did some trolling and caught about 20 Spanish and a few blues. Had a great time. First mate Cole worked hard and took good care of us. Would recommend for sure.

Cole and Dave of the Jill Louis HeDboat did a fantastic job! With fours kids ages 8-11 having never done this type of fishing before we were nervous how they would be received. Cole did a great job walking the group through what to do and made sure the kids understood what to do. Dave walked us through our options of where we could fish, we opted for the sea over the sound and it did not disappoint. On the way out there were multiple dolphin sightings that the captain slowed for and allowed the kids to observe them passing. The quantity of fish caught far exceeded our expectations! The kids out caught the adults and Cole and Dave were right there supporting them. The kids are looking forward to the next trip. We will be back to the Jill Louis in the future! Highly recommend this boat for any group with kids.

Captain Dave and crew mate Cole were amazing. They worked so well together making everything run smoothly. For a group of rookies this trip was amazing. Cole took time to teach the teens how to unhook the fish and was very patient as we all learned how to pull in the hand lines. Everyone had a great time. Our entire group would recommend this crew for anyone looking to do a family fishing trip.

Our family—ages 8 through 84–had an amazing day with capt Dave and first mate Cole. They couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful on a chilly spring day with a big multi aged group. We caught a lot of fish and had a great time! We’ll definitely book with them again and send anyone else looking for a great day on the water!

Captain Dave and Cole were amazing. They took the 7 of us and put us on the fish. The fish were bitting the whole trip. Was well worth it, and we will definitely be back for a longer trip. Boat was spectacular and couldn’t have been better for the sunny day. We can’t wait to come back!

When you charter a boat, you want to catch Fish. Capt Dave and Cole put us on the fish and we killed it! We had a mixed group of adults and kids under 13 yo and everyone caught fish. Both Capt Dave and Cole were working hard to get the fish in the boat and keep the lines with fresh bait. Highly recommend!

What a great experience!! We loved every minute of it and we want to do it again soon!! Captain Dave and First Mate Cole created a memorable experience, on the way out we saw a bunch of dolphin pods and Captain pulled around so we all got really good pictures!! Some of us had never been fishing like this and they made it so comfortable like we had been doing it forever! When you pull in that first fish it’s so exciting!!
