Nice Afternoon of Fishing
4 Hr Trip – Guaranteed Peacock Bass il April 12, 2026 • 4 adulti
Very nice afternoon trip for the four of us. Owner picked us up at the bait shop in his truck. You purchase your own shiners for bait, guide provides a cooler with aeration for the minnows. Tackle was hooks, and spinning rods provided for you by the guide. Drove us to several spots and shore fished, free-lining shiners. Caught 30+ in 4 hour trip, I’d guess. Mix of Peacock Bass, Largemouth, and a few Mayan Cichlids. Guide was helpful and patient with those not as experienced. Would recommend for most people. Easy, low-stress outing to get outside on vacation, and catch some fish.

We did a 2-Hour trip with Zach as a Christmas present for our 12 year-old, with the whole family (13 year-old brother, Mom and Dad) tagging along. Our experience levels ranged from limited to budding expert and Zach was a great guide for all. We caught fish at all four spots we visited, and he was helpful in making recommendations for other things to do and see in the area. We all had a great time, and would book again on a future trip.

If you want to have some fun catching beautiful fish that are strong and put up a fight, sign up for a Peacock Bass fishing trip with Jake and his family.
My son and I went out with Zach, and had an outstanding time catching multiple large Peacocks. We did a 2 hour trip and it was probably the fastest 2 hours of my life because we were having so much fun.
I highly recommend a trip with Jake's Shoreline Peacock fishing. I am so happy I did with my son because we now have a wonderful father - son core memory!!
And, if you want to talk hockey knowledgeable, ask for Zach. Go Panthers!!

Peacock Bass and My Boys

I took my 3 young boys with Ron for a morning trip. We caught fish after the cold snap of last week that seemed to have some people worried about the fish action. Ron did not dissapoint with his spots and accomidations for my little guys. We will definately book again for our winter visits! Thanks again Ron!

Jake was personable, professional and he knows the local fishing spots because he grew up fishing this area. He put us on plenty of peacocks that hit hard and fought like crazy. We were so happy for this guided trip and catching peacocks for the first time! I highly recommend him. Tight lines!
