Il Capitano Jerry Vrbanovic è un Capitano Marittimo certificato dalla Guardia Costiera degli Stati Uniti per imbarcazioni fino a 100 tonnellate. Suo padre era un pescatore commerciale e Jerry è cresciuto ammirando il lavoro di suo padre e aiutandolo ogni volta che la sua barca tornava al Fisherman's Wharf di San Pedro.
Jerry ha sempre amato tutto ciò che riguarda la pesca e trascorreva tutto il suo tempo libero ai moli vicini. Quando aveva dodici anni iniziò a lavorare come pinhead sulla barca da pesca sportiva Monte Carlo gestita da Paul Strasser dell'Independence Sport Fishing di San Diego. Presto si fece strada fino a diventare marinaio, e fu da questa posizione che Jerry imparò l'arte del servizio clienti eccezionale.
Inoltre, l'esperienza di Jerry lavorando sotto capitani di talento gli ha insegnato l'importanza della sicurezza e della manutenzione della barca. Ha continuato a pescare nel suo tempo libero e ha fatto molte uscite di pesca a Catalina Island e in Messico.
Amava portare a casa sacchi di tonno, black bass, ricciola e rockfish pescati in natura. Lui e suo padre spesso preparavano piatti tradizionali croati poiché entrambi amano cucinare e nutrire gli altri.
Jerry sognava di gestire la propria attività di pesca sportiva nel Golfo del Messico e decise di fare di Sarasota la sua casa. Il suo obiettivo è mostrare ai suoi clienti una fantastica giornata di pesca. Ama mandare le persone a casa con pesce splendidamente sfilettato pronto per essere cucinato e divorato!

I booked a fishing trip with Captain Jerry for my son (10) and me during his Spring Break. We had a fantastic time. Capt Jerry communicated great leading up to the trip. He even offered to flex our time because it was going to windy. (We couldn’t due to flights.) Marina is easy to get to and boat is easy to get on. Great time out to get fishing and Capt Jerry knows where to go. Most appreciated is he focused on my fishing fanatic son and helped him catch a bunch of fish. My son wants to go back…so do I. I highly encourage you to book with Capt Jerry.

Our fishing trip was a last minute booking for my wife, 2 teenage children, and myself. Captain Jerry very quickly returned by call, was truly excited we booked, and assured me that we would catch fish, which we did. On a 4 hour afternoon trip, Captain Jerry quickly put us on the fish. We caught 5 Spanish mackerel, 2 large sheepshead, and 6 grunt. Captain Jerry was very engaging and a nice person. I would definitely recommend fishing with Captain Jerry Vrbanovic with Wild Catch Fishing Charters!

Captain Jerry provided a top notch fishing trip, jammed packed with great vibes. His expertise and easy-going manner is so perfect for our family, I forgot he wasnt a blood relative. Not only did we catch a bunch of fish which he later prepared, captain Jerry offered to take pictures. Thanks for the phenomenal experience while keeping us safe. Can’t wait to rebook the minute we make plans to go back to Florida!

Captain Mike did his best to make the trip very enjoyable for my family. Waves were a bit rough and he found a great spot where we caught a lot of snapper, along with some other species. He recommended a great location that cooks your catch and it was absolutely amazing, putting the final stamp on a great day. I definitely recommend and we will be booking with Wild Catch Fishing Charters again!

My group of 6 had the best morning with Captain Jerry! Loaded up the boat & headed to a close spot for a few quick catches. Then headed another 7 miles out where everyone in our group each caught multiple fish. Captain Jerry was great about moving to the next spot if the fish werent coming. Very pleased with our excursion. Will be coming back to fish again or for a day charter around Siesta!
