ZD Fishing – Captain Zach - Lake Lavon 

We had such a good time! It was me, my husband and my dad. This was their Father’s Day present. We caught about a hundred catfish and bass and kept 70! All 3 of us had 2 lures each on our lines and we were literally catching 2 at a time while we were “jigging”. One time all 3 of us caught 2 fish each all at the same time! 6 fish at once! That was crazy fun. Captain Zach knows where the fish are! He worked so hard and took such good care of my Dad, “Pops”. He took care of all 3 of us but taking such good care of my Dad won my heart. I actually learned a ton and I’ve fished on and off my whole life. He had all of the equipment and then some. I know we’ll do this again. My husband is already talking about a corporate trip and our friends were so jelly they want us to take them too lol. We really had a great time and Captain Zach is low key hilarious so I was giggling the whole time. I could keep going but I think thats plenty. I’ll save some words for my next review. Thank you Captain Zach for making it so much fun!

A very personable and adaptive guide, Captain Zach adapts to the needs of your group. If you want to talk, he's an interesting, intelligent and fun guy to interact with. The accuracy of his spots was insane! No breaks because we were catching fish non-stop. If we had 2 minutes without fish, he had us back on game within seconds. 5 star character, 5 star guide, we will return but only if we can get Zach again! Top notch!!!

Great day with Captain Zach! He did such a great job with my 11 yr old niece and 9 year old nephew, helping them and teaching them little tricks! They had so much fun catching fish. Even my mom enjoyed her time. Capt. Zach be my go to fishing guide!

Zach was awesome with the boys. He kept all the lines baited and help them bring in their catch. Mom and Dad were able to sit back and chill

Took my teenage son out for a quick fishing trip. Neither of us gave much experience but Zach made us feel right at home. We arrived and stepped right on his boat and we were off! He knew exactly where to go and put us right on top of white bass. He had the equipment ready and the technology to make us feel like career anglers. 3.5 hours later I had logged 61 white bass and 1 channel cat and my son pulled in 99 white bass and 1 channel cat!!!! Zach stayed busy keeping our lures ready and getting the fish off the hooks. He has a great personality and it felt like we were out on the lake with an old friend. If we end up in this area again we’ll definitely plan to book Zachary again. Not sure he (or anyone) can top the day he gave us today, but I know he’s capable and will give his customers his best. He even loaned my son his jacket to beat the early morning chill. Thanks Zach!

We had an amazing time on our guided fishing trip today with Zach! He knew Lake Lavon like the back of his hand and took us straight to the best spots. Not only did we catch our limit, but we had a ton of fun along the way. Zach was friendly, professional, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. This fishing trip was a birthday gift for my 10-year old boy, who happens to love fishing. Captain Zachary not only bonded with my son quickly but he taught him how to read the screens on board, how to handle the fishing rod effectively, and so much more. On top of that, we brought plenty of fish home for a family feast. Captain Zachary, you exceeded our expectations! Thank you!

Started catching fish soon after we were out but got windy and water became a little choppy. Made it somewhat difficult not to drift even with the anchor in the water but Zac was persistent on continuing to find the fish. My son and I had a great time and would recommend ZD Guide service to anyone looking for a good time!
