Ciao, mi chiamo Joseph e sono l'orgoglioso proprietario locale di Roatan Reef Explorer Tours qui a Roatan, Isole della Baia dell'Honduras.
Sono sempre stato appassionato di pesca fin da quando ero bambino. Stare in mare e pescare è la migliore terapia per me; è come se la tua mente si connettesse con la natura e diventaste una cosa sola. Ho iniziato a pescare con mio zio Earl, a quei tempi, quando usavamo una pagaia per raggiungere la barriera corallina e fare pesca a fondo perché non potevamo permetterci un motore. Ora eccomi qui a offrirti le migliori uscite di pesca della nostra isola.
La nostra barca è una Bayliner di 26 piedi per 8 piedi modificata a nostro piacimento con un fuoribordo Yamaha 200 4 tempi ecologico
Dotata di 5 portacanne a poppa, 2 stabilizzatori laterali, 6 portacanne sul T Top, mulinelli e esche sono forniti.
Sali a bordo per rendere questa l'imbarcazione perfetta per le tue uscite di pesca: mezza giornata, intera giornata o pesca notturna. Che tu sia un pescatore esperto o alla prima esperienza, abbiamo tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno.
Le uscite vengono effettuate con l'aiuto di un secondo.
Pesci target: Lampuga (Mahi Mahi o Dolphin), Wahoo, Tonno pinna gialla e Bluefin tuna, Barracuda, Bonito, Red snapper, Cavalla (Kingfish) e altro ancora.
Potrai praticare spinning, traina, pesca alla deriva, jigging, pesca a fondo o forse qualcosa di più specializzato in questa zona.
La tua licenza di pesca per la giornata è inclusa nel charter; devi solo presentarti pronto per pescare! Ti preghiamo di notare che potresti dover rilasciare alcuni pesci a causa dei requisiti normativi. Il tuo capitano ti aiuterà a seguire le normative mentre peschi.
Non uscire di casa senza crema solare e occhiali da sole. Le bevande saranno fornite. L'alcol è consentito con moderazione, evita solo i superalcolici e le bottiglie di vetro. Ci saranno alcuni snack leggeri per te a bordo.

We had such a fantastic day on the water with Roatan Reef Explorers and Captain Joseph! These guys were incredibly kind, funny, super knowledgeable, and especially great with our young son—they made the whole experience fun and relaxed for our family. While we didn’t catch everything we were hoping for, Captain Joseph worked hard to get us to the best fishing spots and kept things entertaining the entire time. The snorkeling was absolutely beautiful and a highlight of the day. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun, memorable experience in Roatan!

We had an incredible experience with Roatan Reef Explorer Tours and Captain Joseph. From the moment we met him, you could tell this isn’t just a job for him—it’s a lifelong passion. He’s been fishing these waters since he was a kid, and that deep local knowledge really shows once you’re out on the water.
Joseph and his first mate worked nonstop to make sure we were on fish and having a great time. We did a mix of trolling and drifting, and the action didn’t disappoint. We had shots at species like mahi, tuna, and kingfish, and learned a lot along the way.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or a first-timer, they make the trip fun, easy, and stress-free. If you’re visiting Roatan and want an authentic fishing experience with a local captain who truly loves the ocean, this is the charter to book. One of the highlights of our vacation and I wouldn’t hesitate to fish with Joseph again.

Joe and his mate, Aaron, were great hosts. Finding Joe at the port was very easy. His van was air conditioned and it was a short drive to the boat. The boat was perfect for the trip. Joe was really nice and personable and easy to make conversation with. I really enjoyed his company and learning about him and the island. Our trip was great and I caught tuna and barricuda! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone for a great fishing experience. As a female solo angler I felt very safe and comfortable. A family joined me on the trip and I would expect that they would have the same great experience.

The boat was clean and well-equipped, and they took us straight to great fishing spots. We caught some impressive fish and the crew was super helpful with baiting hooks, giving tips, and making sure we didn’t miss a catch.
What really stood out was the overall experience—the views were beautiful, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and you can tell they truly enjoy what they do.

We finally realized our lifelong dream of deep-sea fishing while in Roatan for a wedding. What a blast these guys were!!! Joseph truly LOVES his job! I think he’d fish 24 hours a day if he could stay awake. Lol. We were blessed to spend several hours with Joe and Cesar in the beautiful Caribbean waters and caught enough fish to make us deliriously happy. We can’t wait to go back!!!! They both have such a great sense of humor it is a pleasure being around them. Cesar even cleaned our fish. You guys are the best!!! We can’t wait for our next adventure with you!!
