Fantastic Guide

Captain Salomón was great. My son and I came here for an afternoon/evening trip just to get out and enjoy the local fishing...our Captain did that and more. He speaks fantastic english if your spanish is as poor as mine and tends rods as needed. We started out with casting towards shore and deadfall for about 2.5hrs, then trolled for ~1.5hrs and about 30mins of jigging to wrap the night up. For an extra fee he brought us some delicious local sandwiches with fries, snacks and a few drinks. If you're looking for a lake Arenal guide I would definitely recomend him, and if we're ever back in the area we will checking if he is still guiding! Muchas Gracias Captain!

6 hour trip with Salomon

I had an amazing experience with Salomon! We moved around until we found where the fish were feeding and after that it was game on! I landed 6 guapote and 8 machaca inluding lots of missed bites. It was very fast and exciting fishing. Salomon gave me tips, helped me land the fish and took some great pics and vids for me that he sent me later! I wasn't able to get an uber from el castillo back to la fortuna where I was staying and he quickly arranged for a friend of his to drive me back! Amazing service all around!
I would highly reccomend his services!

captain salomon was very nice and fun to talk to, and tried his best to get us out in good weather. The guapote always hit hard regardless of size, and we caught 2 species of them.
We also had the privelege of seeing toucans from the boat.

Solamon is an excellent fisherman and guide! I think we caught six fish, three of which we kept and had prepared by a local soda that Solamon arranged for us. This fishing trip was the highlight of my 12 yr old son’s vacation. Highly recommend!
