We caught fish which Chuck cleaned for us and our grandson was able to learn the process. We had them for supper. Good tasting. Mostly ate white perch. But caught many other species. Chuck informed us about what to expect and also educated us on the area since Grandma and Grandpa are from Wisconsin. We enjoyed the adventure.

My family and I had to pull a vacation together after our original trip was canceled due to an injury, I chose Baltimore, Maryland, the aquarium, baseball, shopping, ECT. A huge must was to find a fishing charter. After experiencing hiccups and mishaps through out our entire trip, we checked our reservations Monday night for Tuesday, excitedly all went to bed, my teenagers woke up the best they ever had" it's fishing day ". My spouse again the easiest 4 am wake up. The excitement and anticipation were mounting by the second, I can't find the best words to express my gratitude , we will be forever grateful to you. This literally saved our vacation, and brought sooooo much genuine happiness to everyone of us, that was soooo needed, it brings me to tears and the joy that was had that day. You and your charter will always be our Maryland Miracle!

Booked the 7 hour charter for July 4th. Captain Chuck was very knowledgeable and had some great fishing spots marked. The trip started with a fun and fast speed run to the fishing spot in his 600 hp boat which was a blast. The fishing was slow to start so we went to a different spot to catch some spot and white perch for bait fish. This spot was loaded. Catching fish on every cast was a ton of fun. Then we moved to a different spot with the live bait. Pretty slow again until we switched to jerk baits and immediately caught 2 striped bass, both keepers 21” and 22”. What a great fight to get them in the boat. Lastly we ended near a lighthouse and finally caught one on an eel and missed one on a white perch. Overall, we spent well over 7 hours on the water and Chuck was phenomenal with getting everyone up to speed and we had a great time. I look forward to grabbing a few more of my buddies and going out on the boat with Chuck again.

The whole experience from start to end was amazing. Both the captain and his first mate Tony are very knowledgeable. They will talk to you and answer questions about the fish, or the boat. They help get your fishing rod ready with bait, and take the fish off that you have caught. They even explain what you can or cannot keep and why. When you catch something they can identify what it is, and why/ why not to keep it. They know all the limits and technical stuff. If you have never fished or just a novice like most of us (our group was 10 yo to senior) they teach you some basics and give you tips to help you learn more about fishing. They took extra care helping my son (10 yo - very active) to make sure he had a great experience with catching fish, and pretty much refused to leave until he got a bass! They even clean the fish for you at the end. They really put in the work so you can have an amazing trip.

Thanks to Captain Chuck and Tony we had a great day on the water and accomplished our goal of bringing home some stripers!!

It was a very rough day on the water but we made the best of it. Captain Chuck did a great job with his boat managing the turbulent waters. We were able to catch our live bait and used it for catching Rockfish. It was a great experience overall. It was the first time my son went Rock fishing and now he is hooked. Captain Chuck was very professional and even filleted our fish after the trip as a bonus. It was an overall great experience.

Every time i go out with Chuck i have an absolute blast fishing and enjoying the waters of the Bay and Rivers out from the Baltimore area. I have caught so many big fish on his boat that i dream of coming back out and hooking that next big Rockfish on light gear. It is soo addicting and unique to catch fish like this. I love to fish with lures and light tackle and this is the best guide fisherman you could book in the area if you love to stay engaged in the action all throughout your day. We also do some live lining if we want to and always catch solid fish everytime. I love that Chuck takes us to the various types of fishing spots throughout the day that give us lots of options on how to catch them and to be able to mix it up with different techniques and i never get bored. Start off some days with shallow water action that is unbelievable, then be able to slowly move around and work the lures and fish off of cover, structure and fun things to fish that are different from the typical throw your line and watch the water. He will teach you how to fish everything properly also which he does show great patience doing so. A true Fisherman and gentleman that will always show you a great time no matter what the different days will bring us. His boat is so comfortable and top of the line for fishing on point. His electric trolling motor keeps the boat on the fish especially if the fish or current are moving around fast. Its nice to be able to fish shallow waters around docks, rocks and lighthouses in his boat because of this also. The bigger heavier boats ive chartered aren't able to do this and are limited to just one kind of fishing usually and those make me bored, but not on the chills boat. I love being able to pull out all the stops and fish the whole day like seasoned anglers that can catch them many ways. Cant wait to get back out and Chill with my friends and family and catch some fish. His boat is fast and exciting so you know you will get to the fish first and stay on them. Excellent experience from start to finish. Captain Chuck has a beautiful boat, state of the art equipment, top of the line fishing gear and most importantly he put us on fish all day! We highly recommend and honestly wouldn’t book with anyone else after the trip we had!

Could not have asked for a better day. Beautiful sunrise as we pull out of the marina at 6am. Caught fish just about everywhere we stopped. Ended up with lots of fish to take home. Fun day! Definitely give Chuck a call!
