We caught 2 really nice fish; one yellowtail snapper & one red gag. We went out with Forrest and he was very nice and attentive. We caught a ton of fish which was fun, but they were mostly small fish. The coolest fish i saw on the trip was the strawberry grouper (I think) I think there were lots of sharks or barracuda in the area because each time a big fish bit, another fish would rob us. The boat was very nice and overall a great experience, I’m glad we were put on fish and had fun.

Wanted to “catch and cook” back at our hotel that night. needed fish for 12 people. captain took a good run out to where the fish were biting. Everyone caught and had plenty for dinner. Great captain and a good smooth riding boat. Great trip!

Our first day with Captain Sam was fantastic. We came back to the dock with a collection of yellowtail snapper and mutton snapper with a couple other types thrown in, 25 fish in all. My son caught a 7’ lemon shark that was released but what a thrill. Captain Sam recommended a cook your catch restaurant and the fresh fish was delicious. We went out with Capt Nick on day 2 and the wind was strong so very rough sea but he was very knowledgeable and found the Mahi Mahi and we came home with 9 keepers and probably landed 15 smaller fish that were released. He had a different selection for cook your catch and again the fish was delicious. We went out with Captain Sam our last day and caught yellow tail, mutton and mangrove snapper. My son caught a big (est 50lbs) Amberjack that was released because they weren’t in season and the last fish of the day was a 5’ nurse shark that was released. Both captains were very attentive and made sure to tutor us on the correct technique and help us when we screwed up which was often. Very nice equipment combined with knowledgeable captains made for a great 3 days . Highly recommend both of them.

The boat and the equipment were in good shape. There was a ladies room, which was great. Our captain, Ricky, was very pleasant and wonderful with my two 17yr boys. He was wonderful with explaining what he was doing. We caught two mahi and they tasted fabulous! I was impressed with his honesty on canceling our trip we had schedule two days before d/t weather being so windy. Thank you for helping our trip being wonderful.

Captain Noah - a young man with oodles of experience was great. He made the trip very enjoyable and fruitful. We caught a number of fish and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water For those doing this for the first time. Carry a few layers - a good windcheater.. it can be blustery on the boat.

Boat and gear was great. Captain Noah was very knowledgeable. Got us over a wreck and they were biting. Had over 30 hook up, only got 6 to the boat though between the sharks and barracuda. Caught a couple jacks and snappers enough for good lunch overall a really great morning. Thanks so much would definitely go again.
We had an excellent time with John. He is plain spoken and knowledgeable about everything from what your fishing to the birds you see while you fish. We had a slow start (no fault of his). Plenty of bites but we couldn’t deliver due to our inexperience. After he coached us ( much more than he probably wanted to) we finally started landing the fish. It was an amazing time from start to finish. Captain John knows his business and explains what he is doing and why. He also allows you to learn the process and take part. He even told us half way through the day we could leave and catch a ton of smaller fish, but since I had asked him to stick it out and land nice sized fish he stayed. He was an amazing guide. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you so much John. You made our trip!!!
We had a lovely day! Sam was awesome; got us on the fish, patient, good teacher. Highly recommend🎣🐠

Capt Sam on the Coolwater 2 was awesome. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to make sure are group knew exactly what we were going to fish for. We had a great day and caught a lot of fish. We will be back next year!!! Thank you
