Finquest Charters utilizza attrezzature di prima qualità e tutte le ultime innovazioni e progressi nella pesca sui Grandi Laghi. Il capitano ti porterà a bordo di uno spazioso yacht a motore Trojan da 35 piedi. Con un layout a pozzetto aperto e schermi rimovibili, l'imbarcazione è resistente alle intemperie. Soddisfa e supera persino tutti i requisiti di sicurezza e attrezzatura U.S.C.G. All'interno, c'è un divano, una cabina a V e una dinette, oltre a un bagno pulito con WC elettrico. La barca è alimentata da due motori Mercruiser C.I. V-8 da 350 HP per affrontare il Lago Michigan. Perfetta per ospitare fino a sei pescatori, è completamente attrezzata con elettronica di navigazione all'avanguardia e attrezzatura per la pesca sportiva.

La stagione di pesca in acque aperte inizia a metà aprile, quando inizia la pesca alla trota fario e al salmone argentato. A metà maggio arriva 'l'abboccata più calda del lago' - salmone argentato che varia da 3 a 6 libbre. A metà giugno il tempo diventa più stabile e i pesci diventano più grandi. Il capitano si dirige al largo verso acque più profonde per ottenere un 'Grand Slam' nella sua ghiacciaia.

Da luglio ad agosto è il periodo dei trofei con i pesci alle loro dimensioni massime dell'anno. A seconda della temperatura dell'acqua e del tempo, puoi pescare in acque molto basse.

C'è meno traffico sull'acqua a settembre e ottobre, ma la pesca può essere molto intensa. È il momento migliore per inseguire Kings di 3 anni, Rainbows e Lakers. La trota di lago si riproduce a novembre e può alimentarsi intensamente prima di allora.

Tutte le uscite di pesca includono canne Shimano Talora esclusive, mulinelli Tekota, attrezzatura e esche. Il capitano invierà il tuo pescato a casa pulito e insacchettato, pronto per andare direttamente in padella! Vuoi aumentare la quantità di pescato nella tua ghiacciaia? Il capitano consiglia uscite di pesca di 6 o 8 ore.

I went fishing with Captain Tim and Finquest charters and had a tremendous experience.  The meeting location is very easy to find, is in a safe location and parking is free.  Captain Tim arrived early and was ready to go.  We left as soon as we got settled on the boat, before the scheduled start time.

The Captain is friendly and didn't seem to mind any of my two trillion questions that I asked him.  He was a great source of information in regards to the history, the area and salmon fishing.  He was quite social for it being so early in the morning.

When we got to the area where we were going to fish, Captain Tim was explaining the different depths, how much line was being put out, trolling speed and all of the other things that I was interested in.  As soon as the Captain set the first line, he began letting out line on the second rod and we had one on.  Captain Tim was calm throughout, giving helpful instructions and within ten minutes of reaching the fishing grounds, we had one in the boat.  

Shortly after getting the rods back out, there were three fish on at once, which was only a problem because we only had two people fishing.  Two of the three were landed, as one jumped off as it sat in a rod holder.

We kept fishing until we caught all that we wanted to take.  We had a great day with a lot of laughs, great fishing stories and nonstop action.  He had top notch recommendations of places to eat, including a local "cook your catch" restaurant.  

The fish were fileted and bagged to take.  This captain has a great demeanor that is perfect for any age or skill level that you may have in your group.  If you are looking to go fishing in the Kenosha area, I would highly recommend Captain Tim and Finquest charters.  Despite never meeting him prior to the trip, It was like fishing with a friend.

Some of the most fun we’ve ever had.

Tim was incredibly knowledgeable and humble when it comes to fishing and he gave us an incredible opportunity out on Lake Michigan. When we learned that we might have some bad weather on the day of our trip he offered to move it to the next day since he didn’t have any other customers out to fish that day, which we declined but was incredibly kind of him. He also asked our preference on what we wanted to catch and he mended our schedule to fit exactly what type of fish and how many we wanted to catch. While we were out on the water he showed his immense knowledge and understanding of the fish and their patterns and was absolutely incredible to watch. He didn’t make us do a thing while we were in the boat we just sat back and watched the master do his thing. We limited out on fish and caught four different species while we were out. We’re super excited to eat all of the fish he filleted and bagged for us. I highly recommend taking this charter if you want to have a good laugh with a great guy and catch a whole lot of fun fish. The man’s mustache is incredible as well.

Had a great time with Tim on the charter! Caught lots of fish and enjoyed the weather. Very fun to talk to, and you could tell he was passionate about fishing!

I wanted to do something special with my son, son-in-laws, and brother-in-law so I decided on a charter fishing trip. We had an absolute blast out on the water.  Captain Tim was very knowledgeable and made the experience memorable.  Everything was set up very well for us, and we were very happy with the fish we took home.
Overall, is was a really great and relaxing morning.
