From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. We ended up landing some really nice halibut, and there was steady action throughout the day. Dave clearly knows where to go and how to put you on fish, and Arron was always right there to help, whether it was setting up gear or making sure everything ran smoothly. If you’re looking for a solid fishing trip with a crew that knows what they’re doing and keeps things fun, I definitely recommend booking with Captain Dave. They were soooo helpful in teaching us how to fish properly. They were patient, kind and super supportive. They took us all over the bay to ensure that we caught as many fish as we could. Captain Rooney was very knowledgeable about the various strategies used to catch halibut and in the end, it paid off. We caught more than enough halibut to feed 6+ people! His kindness and enthusiasm for fishing made the time in between hooking a fish fly by. Would book again!

Captain Dave has over 30 years experience and makes it his business to know exactly where people are on the bite. I Wilks highly recommend Dave for any fishing you can do in around the Bay. We will be booking another trip when Sturgeon season opens.

The fish weren’t biting ( 3 keeper stripers and no halibut) but the captain moved us to numerous spots trying to put us on the fish. Water conditions weren’t great for fishing but a beautiful day on the bay and had a great time.

Ho iniziato a pescare alla tenera età di 6 anni sulla barca six-pack di mio nonno per Salmone, Striped Bass e Rockfish nella baia di San Francisco e nell'oceano esterno lungo la costa di Marin.
