What an incredible day aboard the Grace. We really can't say enough good about it! If you’re looking for a fishing charter that delivers both an amazing experience and plenty of action, this is the one. Captain Tommy and First Mate Bret were absolutely outstanding. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and worked nonstop to make sure everyone had a great time. They knew exactly where to find the fish, and thanks to their expertise, we were catching fish throughout the trip. They were always there to bait hooks, offer tips, celebrate every catch, and make sure everyone felt included and successful. What really stood out was how much fun the entire day was. There was lots of laughter, great conversation, and a relaxed atmosphere that made the trip feel like spending the day on the water with old friends. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and it was obvious that Captain Tommy and Bret genuinely love what they do. Thank you both for an unforgettable day filled with great fishing, wonderful memories, and an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time. We can’t wait to come back aboard the for another trip. Five stars all the way!

The boys caught fish all morning, and Captain Tommy consistently put them on great spots around the bay. They spend much of the summer fishing local ponds and the river, but this was a whole new experience. Thanks to Captain Tommy, they came away feeling much more knowledgeable about fishing the bay. Captain Tommy was welcoming, patient, and happy to share his knowledge while making sure they had an amazing time. They even filleted our catch for us to take home, which was a fantastic bonus. Colby, the first mate, was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help keep everything running smoothly so the boys could focus on fishing. It was the perfect birthday adventure, and we’ll definitely be back. We highly recommend Captain Tommy and Colby to anyone looking for a fun, successful day on the water!

We had an outstanding experience with Hallock’s Grace Charters! The fishing was challenging due to a heavy presence of dolphins pushing the fish around, but Captain Tommy never stopped working to put us on fish. His knowledge of the water, persistence, and determination paid off, and we were able to bring home three beautiful striped bass. What really made the trip special was the atmosphere on the boat. Captain Tommy kept things fun and engaging with great conversation throughout the day, making the entire experience enjoyable even during the slower stretches. It felt like spending a day on the water with friends rather than just a fishing charter. A special shoutout to Colby, who was an excellent first mate. Both Captain Hollack and first mate Colby are great gus to fish with. There lifetime of experience helped put us on fish very early within the trip. The only down side to the trip was some boat equipment failed which eventually cut our trip shorter than expected, but Captain Hollack discounted our trip because if it. We would have loved to catch more species after our limit of Rock fish, but with fishing there are never guarantees. Overall we had a great tome and if I am ever back in the Deale/Shady side area, I’d book with these gentlemen in a heartbeat!

Captain Tommy was great very knowledgeable and knew the fishing well. We had an evening charter and captain Tommy had informed us that they caught fish in the morning but it was hard because of the water being about 10 degrees colder than it usually is this time of year so the baitfish are hard to get. Still ended up going and having a great time not catching fish. Highly recommend captain Tommy and will be booking a trip in the future.

Captain Tommy and Colby assured that we had a great fishing experience. Captain Tommy was responsive to my questions and messages prior to the trip and was very personable and accommodating during the trip. We caught over 50 Bluefish.

This trip was a first for some of my crew. We caught Spot. had a few hits on Blues. Captain Tommy and Mate Kyle were great. They shoeed great patiene with our first timers. Will definitely book this again!!

I pulled together the trip for my best friend who just turned 50 a couple days before. If you are not deliberate, the daily life of working, being a husband, father & homeowner can leave little time for enjoying the camaraderie of your hanging with the guys like we used to. This fishing trip served that purpose in a way that was relative to where we are at in life now. Captain Thomas & his decimate were prepared & accommodating from the time we arrived. The boat was clean & spacious with ample room for 6 guys to move about and find space to sit and enjoy the sun & breeze as we embarked on our outing. We caught a bunch of Spot which we then used to bait and catch 8 Striped Bass (I caught the first and largest of them haha!). We brought snacks & drinks. They already had a large cooler for fish. We moved around to several locations to find the best spots. Weather was amazing. Most of the boat is covered if you need to get some shade. The crew assisted by baiting our lines, netting the fish and unhooking them as we reeled them in. They would provide tips and things to look out for and clean & gutted the fish on return. I may add that we had a steamed shrimp dinner at the end with whole corn on the cob. If I was to nitpick, I would have liked to see an additional side with the meal like a potato salad or coleslaw and a better way to hold the paper they put down on the table. The wind was pulling it apart as it got damp from the shrimp but we worked with it. I did not see the bathroom so I cannot comment on how clean/spacious/functional that was. Overall we had a great time with friends, caught fish, the weather cooperated and Capt Thomas & crew were supportive & insightful! They were present & constantly helped but were not overbearing which allowed the guys to just hang out and enjoy each other's company. I would definitely do it again and also do it with family!
