Half day out to sea with captain Devron and nirav

What an awesome day out to sea with captain Devron and nirav, we had an awesome experience which will surely be remembered for years to come, I will definitely recommend hooked again fishing charters based on there patients with kids and those of us learning to fish, it was a over rall good day spent and this won't be our last once again I'd like to thank the skipper and crew for a day well spent.

Kob fishing is all about powerful hits and steady, dogged fights. Known as Kob, Mulloway, Jewfish, and Japanese Meagre, this prized game fish draws anglers for its size, strength, and inshore habits. You will often find it around surf edges, estuaries, and river mouths with sandy or mixed bottoms.

Most crews target Kob with inshore fishing and light to medium offshore runs close to the beach. Bottom fishing with live or very fresh bait works best. Common choices include mullet, sardine, squid, prawns, and cut fish. Soft plastics, jigs, and diving minnows also produce, especially at night or in low light. Fly fishing with large baitfish patterns can work when fish move into shallow channels. Use an abrasion-resistant leader to handle rough mouths and structure.

Expect patient sessions with bursts of action. The first run is strong, and the fight is steady with heavy head shakes. This suits anglers who enjoy reading tides and working structure. It is beginner friendly with a good guide, yet still exciting for experts. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses, non-slip shoes, and a camera. A medium-heavy spinning or baitcasting setup is a solid starting point. Circle hooks help with clean hook-ups and safer releases.

Before your trip, check local rules for licenses or permits. Review open seasons, area closures, and any size or daily harvest limits. Regulations change by region, so confirm the latest guidance and follow best practices if releasing fish.
