I was born and raised in Key West, and started fishing with my grandfather at the tender age of 8 years old. My grandfather taught me how to fish, and instilled in me a great love and respect for the ocean. As I grew I knew that this is what I wanted to do with my life. As soon as I was able to shake my parents notion that one day I would head off to college, I began to fish in earnest. I started in the commercial industry trapping, diving, and hand lining. Though I enjoyed that life immensely I also enjoy showing people a good time, and showing off my craft. which led me into the charter boat industry. I went from first mate to owner of 4 charter boats at historical charterboat row. I have learned from the best in the industry, and have passed my knowledge onto my crews. I believe that all fishermen are show offs. They know that it is not easy to go fishing and actually catch fish, and that's what they do. Come on out and hang with our showoffs, I promise you will be entertained.

    Ottimo Capitano e Marinaio CJ

    Ho fatto un'uscita a settembre fuori stagione - NP Ho preso un Blackfin tuna e gli altri 3 hanno preso qualche Yellowtail snapper L'uscita di 4 ore era perfetta Originariamente programmata per martedì ma spostata a giovedì - NP Non capisco come 2 dei 4 non abbiano lasciato la mancia al secondo ORRIBILE I 2 si lamentavano già prima di partire Comunque, 2 pescatori stupidi non dovrebbero rovinare tutto Prenditi cura del secondo Il 20 percento di mancia è poco rispetto a quello che merita Il Capitano Gil era sempre in contatto in anticipo Consiglio assolutamente

    Trophy Fish & Mahi Mahi

    We booked a shared charter, which saved costs, however we rotated turns to reel in catches. DJ was our mate and was phenomenal, he had 4-6 lines going at all times. We did a 3/4 day charter, two of us then 4 others also were booked. everyome was friendly and we all felt ownership of all the catches (although DJ really did most of the work). We split the edible fish amongst parties that wanted some, and although only 2 mahi keepers, it was enough for everyone to have a small meal (which we’ll tske to one of many restaurants that will gril it for us). We rotated turns reeling, i had one decent fish then a dud. We got a few mahi mahi, two non-keepers and two keepers. i know many trips come back unfruitful to no fault of captain or mate, we ended up the best boat out there with mahi & a trophy sailfish. another group brought a full cooler with drinks and food, we brought snacks, a few drinks and suscreen, boat had waters on ice for us.

    Che esperienza fantastica abbiamo vissuto tutti! Ci hanno portato in ottimi spot di pesca e si sono assicurati che ognuno di noi prendesse qualcosa. Il capitano e l'equipaggio hanno reso la giornata indimenticabile. Ci hanno aiutato moltissimo e sono stati molto abili nel loro lavoro. L'equipaggio aveva le migliori personalità, il che ha reso tutto ancora più divertente! Li consiglio vivamente sia ai principianti che alle persone più esperte, perché sono davvero bravi nel loro mestiere!! La cosa che spicca di più è che anche se non hai mai pescato prima, ti mettono a tuo agio, ti mostrano cosa fare e non ti mettono fretta. Non vedo l'ora di andarci di nuovo. Questa è la quarta volta che ci siamo andati e ogni volta è fantastica!

    L'equipaggio è stato super gentile e cordiale, ero in ritardo e hanno aspettato per assicurarsi che arrivassi. C'erano solo pesci piccoli, ma era prevedibile perché è la stagione lenta. Il secondo Ricky è stato fantastico, molto informativo, e si è preso cura di tutto per assicurarsi che tutti fossero a proprio agio. Il capitano ha navigato benissimo tra la pioggia e le acque. Raccomando davvero l'uscita di pesca a chi vuole vivere questa esperienza

    Conchenstein

    Uscita di pesca di 3/4 giornata – Condivisa • 4 adulti

    Abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza fantastica durante la nostra uscita di pesca in charter di 6 ore a bordo del Conchenstein con il Capt. Ron e Roscoe. Il mare era calmo, la pesca è stata ottima e abbiamo portato a bordo un barracuda di 36 pollici insieme ad alcuni sgombri e diversi altri tipi di pesce. L'equipaggio ci ha trattato benissimo dall'inizio alla fine: erano informativi, cordiali e chiaramente esperti. Si sono impegnati al massimo per tenerci sempre sul pesce e hanno reso l'intera uscita piacevole per tutti. Nel complesso, è stata un'esperienza di charter fantastica e raccomandiamo assolutamente il Capt. Ron e Roscoe a chiunque voglia pescare nelle Keys.

Cosa abbocca con Capt. Conch Charters – Capt. Conch a Key West

Il tardo autunno vede le barriere coralline prendere vita. Grandi quantità di pesce esca attirano prelibatezze come Yellowtail snapper, cernie e Mutton snapper, che poi arrivano sulle barche e sulla tavola da pranzo.

Hurricane Irma Update

Hurricane Irma is long gone thank God, but the aftermath is in full swing. Key West as well as all the Keys have been dealt a catastrophic blow. We are down, but we are far from out. To say that it has been hard Is an understatement, but thanks to the heroes that are working hard to restore our resources we are on the mend. It has been announced that we are trying for a October 20th re-opening of the Keys to our northern friends. We are all working hard towards that goal, as we cant wait to see you. In the meantime say a prayer for all the hurricane victims who are suffering through the aftermath of natures fury. Follow us on Facebook to see some videos of the storm.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and if you are not in Key West yet all I can say is why not. You wont find many cozy fireplaces here, but then again who needs them being located so close to the end of the rainbow. If you are tired of that same old traditional turkey dinner, you should be in Key West where the elusive wahoo have made a Thanksgiving appearance. On a recent trip our customers experienced some great wahoo action, and plan on eating the turkey of the ocean for dinner. The other white meat.
