Fishing and boating on Lake Erie was introduced to me by my dad when I was only 10 months old. Ive been boating and fishing on Lake Erie all my life with family and friends. Ive been taking friends fishing since I was 14 when I passed the boater safety coarse. Since 2006 Ive been taking friends and family walleye and perch fishing just about every weekend on Lake Erie. I love all aspects of the 'Lake Erie Experience', from the Sunrise to the sunset, getting to the right fishing spot, watching and catching fish, filleting the fish and cooking it!! My favorite species to catch is Walleye, perch and Smallmouth bass. Its always been my dream to be a competitive angler but I enjoy watching others catch fish just as much. Especially my 4 sons Jaxson, Camden, Lawson, and Weston. They are my why I do what I do everyday! USCG Licensed Captain of the 30' Sportcraft named 'Erie Sunrise' since 2024!!

Cosa abbocca con Erie Sunrise Charters LLC a Lakeside Marblehead

L'acqua si fa più fredda in autunno, ma la pesca al Persico sole diventa solo più intensa. Anche l'abboccata del Walleye è ancora forte. Una volta che ti sei saziato di azione, torna a terra per goderti l'annuale Festival del Faro.

4 hour morning Trip

Fishing after a Noreaster

Casted harnesses morning after a big noreaster for 3 days straight. Casting was successful just not the fastest bite. Casted half the morning and the crew opted to do some triolling. Finished out their day with 21 nice Walleye. No board picture due to picking them up on Put in bay!!

Delayed departure due to high winds until 11am. 4 hour trip. 36 walleye!! Another fun day walleye fishing on Lake Erie!!

May 2nd limit

Had 5 people aboard Erie Sunrise. Captured their limit of 30 walleye and 3 extra for the 1st mate!! Was a beautiful day between the rain storms that came through! The fish were caught trolling crankbaits and spoons.

Hostetler Crew

apr 30, 2025 • Lakeside Marblehead
Picked up the Hostetler crew on middle bass island April 13th. Went jig fishing for walleye on the reefs. They caught 12 by 10am. With all the other boats not driving around the reef and instead driving right through the drift to get back to a good spot the fish shut off. So we cruised a few miles to a new spot to set up to troll. We caught the rest of their limit by 1pm for a total of 30 walleye!! 5 person trip
