    Adam, Skipper/captain, was kind, helpful in sourcing suncream for us, changed fishing site plans depending upon the weather, even changed days to allow for calmer weather when fishing. we caught 7 good sized whiting and more than 5 other varieties. we targeted fish thst i have never caught specifically, as i asked for that. which was responsive to iur needs. and our fish were scaled and gutted for us. thank you Adam. great value trip and great tasting fish were taken home. Experience the hunt for the notorious Tamar King George Whiting. Our estuary system produces arguably the biggest models in Australia and only getting better. A guided tour can see you scouring over weed beds, sand flats and channels in search for the highly prized trophy fish. Winter is an often overlooked time of year to hunt for these fish, generally due to our Tasmanian climate being a little cooler. However boat traffic is often very quiet this time of year and the river can produce thumping big and well conditioned models around the 60cm mark and 1.3kg.
