    Grazie al Capitano Billy e all'equipaggio Jerome e Ding. Il primo giorno abbiamo pescato dei Doritos come esca e, sebbene avessimo avuto un'abboccata di un Marlin, l'amo non si è agganciato correttamente, quindi l'abbiamo perso abbastanza in fretta e gli squali hanno fatto piazza pulita del resto dell'esca. Il giorno 2, invece, è stata tutta un'altra storia: abbiamo preso un bel Wahoo di circa 9 kg e 2 Tonni pinna gialla di circa 36 kg ciascuno. Ma la storia non finisce qui: dopo quasi 4 ore di combattimento con un enorme Marlin nero, dopo circa un'ora e mezza ho dovuto passare il canna all'equipaggio — questo è il problema di invecchiare. Tutti insieme siamo riusciti ad avvicinare il primo al fianco della barca, quando quell'enorme Marlin da circa 400 kg stimati ha dato un ultimo, potente scossone della testa e ha spezzato il terminale. In un certo senso è stato difficile da accettare, ma dall'altro lato quel magnifico pesce nuota ancora libero nell'oceano. Vorrei ringraziare ancora Billy e l'equipaggio per un'esperienza unica nella vita.

    Siamo stati davvero fortunati con il meteo: all'inizio abbiamo cercato un grande gruppo di uccelli, perché questo indica la presenza di un banco di pesci. Dopo 1 ora e mezza è arrivato il momento: abbiamo preso 10 Bonito, poi l'abboccata si è fermata. Poi ho avuto una gran fortuna e ho preso una bella Lampuga (Mahi Mahi), che stimo intorno ai 10-15 kg. Dopo 20 minuti l'avevo a bordo, poi siamo tornati indietro.

    Lavoro di squadra straordinario e una giornata fantastica in mare

    Il Capitano Billy e il suo equipaggio hanno dimostrato un vero spirito di squadra e grande professionalità per tutta la durata dell'uscita. Si vede chiaramente quanto siano coordinati ed esperti — tutto è stato gestito in modo fluido e sicuro di sé. Non siamo certo tornati a mani vuote, e il momento clou della giornata è stato portare a bordo un pesce vela da 40 kg — un'esperienza incredibile e adrenalina pura. Una giornata fantastica in mare dall'inizio alla fine. Consigliatissimo.

    Billfish- quando il Marlin è l'obiettivo!

    Billy e il suo equipaggio conoscono le acque come le loro tasche e sono altamente motivati. All'inizio di dicembre 2025 ho pescato 2 marlin in 2 giorni, il terzo si è sganciato vicino alla barca. Un consiglio senza riserve - il marlin è qui adesso!

On this calm morning there was not much activity on the surface but we were lucky to catch 1 skipjack in a rare school.It was looking like it was going to be the catch of the day until just before lines in we were lucky again to catch a nice sailfish.

We were out for a full day trip with nice conditions and after a quiet start we got into action with the wahoos and in the afternoon caught skipjacks as well as a splendid sailfish and a yellow fin tuna.

350 lbs blue on livebait

Our regular guest Mr Peter brought his friend to experience deep sea trolling and what an experience it turned out to be. A blue marlin, some skipjacks and a yellowfin tuna on the first trip.Patience paid off as we were trolling with live bait since 8:00 a.m and only got the strike around12:00. It was a fierce fight but the angler did very well on his first ever big saltwater fish.

After some northerly wind and choppy seas it was starting to get better.We caught a skipjack early during the trip and started live baiting but the bait quickly got weak and the schools around us were dissipating.We put the lures out and headed gor the deeper waters were we caught another skipjack. Just after leaving the school we got a strike and it was game on. Our customer who had been looking to catch his first marlin in different countries finally got it after a 25 minutes fight.While the crew were resetting the lures 2 marlins showed up behind the lures and we got a hookup on the short corner lure.It was an estimated 600 lbs blue that was very aggressive and took a lot of line on the 80lbs reel. Our customer got on the fighting chair but unfortunately the line broke after the marlin started doing some acrobatic jumps far away from the boat.We came back with a blue marlin and 2 skipjacks.

On that morning with no activity along the dropoff we decided to try our luck a bit further south. Sea was good and we spotted a few birds and caught a wahoo and shortly after we had 2 yellowfin tuna on the lines.During the fight there was a heavy rain and wind picked ip and the sea got rough and tough.After boating the two 80lbs tunas we headed downwind and did not find much.About an hour before heading back we had a strike on the long rigger lure and saw that huge black marlin taking to the air.The fish did not take too much line but was very stubborn and did not want to move from where it was.Our regular customer Mr Chris did an excellent job on the chair but a fish that size wears you out and time was going by.After trying trick after trick the fish was finally starting to get uncomfortable and came up and made some beautiful jumps just to show its size and power. Some time later ,as we were getting ready with the gaffs and the fish was just 2 meters away from the boat with leader in hand, the leader broke due to the many hours chafing with the bill. Some could say a nice release.We could just watch the beautiful fish slowly swim away...see you another day
