I was born a fisherman. Born and raised in South Eastern NC. My backyard was always water. I Bass fished golf course ponds as a youngster, and fished inshore, nearshore, and offshore with my dad and grandfather. Fishing is in my blood. The outdoors is my office. I love sharing all I have learned throughout my life with all of the folks that come to visit South Eastern NC. I am an adventure charter. Although fishing is a big part of my charter, we also have a lot of customers who enjoy the tidal pool excursions with their kids. Clamming and crabbing the back creeks around Wrightsville Beach, or shell walks along our uninhabited barrier islands that we are blessed to have. As a North Carolinian, a husband of 17 years, and a father of 3 boys, I promise to take the utmost care of you and your family and treat you all as an extended part of mine! Hope to see you soon.

From the moment we got on the boat, the captain was professional, knowledgeable, and worked hard to put us on the fish. We caught plenty of fish, had an amazing time, and learned a lot throughout the trip. The equipment was in great condition, the boat was clean, and the entire trip was well organized. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure everyone has a memorable experience, whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first time fishing. If you’re looking for a fun, successful fishing trip with a great guide, I highly recommend Green Creek Outfitters. We’ll definitely be booking another trip!

He knew the exact spot to go so they could catch a lot of fish, and he talked about each different species of fish as the kids reeled them in. He also took us to the tide pools on a barrier island to explore the marine wildlife, which we all loved — both kids said it was their favorite part of our entire beach vacation! Captain Guion was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely fun. We can’t recommend him enough and will definitely be booking with him again next time we’re in the area. Thank you for an unforgettable family experience!

6 ore Pesca a fondo Cooler Buster • 5 adultiWe had an absolutely fantastic trip with Captain Guion! We booked the “Cooler Buster” trip, and it definitely lived up to its name. We caught over 20 fish and filled the cooler! Captain Guion was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. When I started feeling a little seasick, he was incredibly accommodating and even let me ride in the captain’s seat for the ride back. He provided bottled water, helped filet our fish at the end of the day, and never made us feel rushed. One of the highlights of the trip was spotting a pod of dolphins on the ride back. Captain Guion slowed down so we could enjoy the moment, which was such a special touch and made the experience even more memorable. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. We had an amazing day on the water, caught plenty of fish, and made some great memories. We will absolutely be booking with Captain Guion again. Highly recommend!

He was fantastic with my son and made the trip special by taking the time to teach him about every fish he caught. His patience, knowledge, and enthusiasm made it a great experience for us. If you’re looking for a guide who not only puts you on fish but also makes the trip fun and educational, I highly recommend Guion. Great time, great guy. We’ll definitely be back!

Our son caught a few different types of fish and then we stopped and got out for him to experience the tidal pools. Guion has lived there almost his whole life so he knows every spot and what he needs to do to keep kids entertained. We hope to go back to Wilmington for an adult fishing trip with him too!

June Cooler Busters a Bang!

Our cooler buster trips have been amazing this June. With Grouper season in till August and lots of hungry fish, we have been coming home with a solid mix bag of groupers, mahi, black seabass, snappers, cobia and much more for you to have that family fish fry. Book a trip! Amd hang on to your rod tight.

Amazing Grouper Fishing Now!

On our good weather days where we can get out past 20 miles, mahi, grouper, seabass fishing has been on fire. Grouper is in till August 1st. Red Grouper starts june 1st. Fishing is incredible now and looks like this thursday and friday we have great weather to get back offshore.

Monster Bluefin Tunas

We have the big blue fin right off the beach. We have neen targeting these fish inside of 5 miles. An 6 hour trip min is needed as we travel our beaches around 20 plis miles to find the right conditins and areas these foah are feeding. Want the chance to catch a moster. Book a trip. These are weather dependant trips as we target the light wind with a weaterly direction. Lets go while we can kill one fish per day under 73 inches.

July Finished Strong….and HOT

With the ongoing hot weather, we had a break and some wind changes and the fish got fired up. We have been catching, big balck sea bass, grouper, cobia, redfish, sharks and the big Spanish Mackerel finally showed up. With the next week of NE winds we will fall back inshore for Redfish, speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead amd black drum. Dont let the ripped up ocean scare you. We have a whole world of inshore fishing in the Cape Fear area.

The Big Hungry Spanish Showed up!

After a long hot summer without many Spanish around theu finally showed up! Solid big sized spansih ready to eat artifocail lites worked fast. A great time to fill the cooler amd the freezer!
