I have been fishing Lake Ponchatrain and it's surrounding Bayous since I first could hold a rod. My passion became my career when I went to work for Captain Andy Jones over the summer of 19'. Captain Andy taught me everything there is to know about hunting the Kraken and I continue to heed his advice while on the water. While waiting for the Kraken to awaken from hibernation, we have become expert Redfish and Trout fisherman, finding the best spots across Lake Ponchatrain, Catherine, and Borgne to load a box full of fish for our customers.

La caccia al Kraken (Pomeriggio) • 1 adultoMy trip with Captain Mackie was phenomenal. First class in all aspects. Captain Mackie is very friendly, and his expertise made for an incredible day of fishing. We started by catching some bait fish, and then made our way to the spot. We hooked up with a monster bull shark, which was the experience of a lifetime. Without Captain Mackies expertise and experience, there is no way I could have landed this monster. After the shark, we went into one of the channels and hooked up with an alligator gar. Captain Mackie knew exactly where to go and we caught one in no time. If you’re fishing in Louisiana, Captain Mackie is the guy you want.

The Aquarium Catch (Mattina) • 4 adultiWe had a great trip with Wicked Fishing on the Aquarium Catch. We caught a ton of white and speckled trout that were great to eat that evening. We also caught of variety of other fish, including a huge redfish and two sharks. Captain Mackie did a great job keeping us busy with catches and moving around to the right spots. I'd definitely recommend Wicked Fishing and we hope to find the time to schedule another trip!

The Aquarium Catch (Pomeriggio) • 6 adultiWe had a great afternoon! There were six in our group - 3 teens who can’t stop talking about how much fun they had and how soon we can go again. The “bites” were almost nonstop with several nice sail catfish but the most excitement was catching large sharks and a big black drum!! Captain Mac was really great - prepared, knowledgeable of the area and was just as excited as we were with our catch. We highly recommended him!

The Aquarium Catch (Mattina) • 5 adulti • 1 bambinoHad such a great time with Wicked Fishing Charter! 🎣 We caught plenty of fish, had lots of laughs, and made some great memories. Captain was awesome and made sure we had a good time from start to finish. Definitely recommend!

The Aquarium Catch (Pomeriggio) • 2 adultiWe ended up with windy conditions, but Capt Mackie was willing to keep pushing so my son had an opportunity to fish. We caught somebig and some small fish, but action was consistent and the time flew by. Capt Mackie was very good with my 23 year old. He answered questions, helped when needed, and also taught him how to remove hooks from fish. Would recommend and would do the trip again!
