Captain Tim began fishing at a young age and it has always been his favorite sport and hobby. The captain grew up in Fort Pierce fishing off docks, catwalks, and Jettys. He was given an old aluminum Jon boat as a gift when he was 13. Having a boat changed the game for him. It allowed him to explore the Indian river lagoon which he has done to this day. He's gotten bigger boats since then with this it has allowed him to adventure out into the big blue Atlantic Ocean for some of the greatest fishing adventures. When the time came, Captain Tim decided to get his captain's license because of his love of fishing. To him, life is Family and about being on the water, catching fish, and making memories.

Uscita di 4 ore – Costiera • 3 adultiIf you're looking to bend a rod in Fort Pierce, book Get Lost Fishing Charters with Captain Tim Wake. Hands down the GOAT on these waters! Three of us went out and the action was absolute non-stop from the moment we got on the fish. Captain Tim put us right on top of them, kept the bait flying, and had all three of us hooked up constantly. We landed a ton of fish throughout the trip and ended up taking home a cooler full—kept 17 for dinner! Tim knows these waters like the back of his hand, works his tail off to keep you on the fish, and makes the entire trip an absolute blast. Top-tier service, great boat, and legendary fishing. We’ll definitely be booking with Captain Tim again. Highly recommend!

Probably more than I’ve caught my whole life! About a dozen Mangrove Snappers (including five keepers!), three sting rays, a bunch of catfish, a blue fish, jack crevelle, pig fish and a couple of puffer fish! Capt Timmy was fantastics! teaching us all the basics, patient with the kids, calm when multiple fish were being caught at once. He found spots where fish were practically jumping into the boat. The best part, he de-hooked every catch. No need to try that ourselves! At the end, Tim cleaned and prepped our keepers, recommended a restauramt that will prepare them (shout out to the Green Marlin) - even gave us tips on how to ask the restaurant to prepare the catch. This was such a great experience for our budding fisherman. And the most fun I’ve had fishing, hands down. Sooo happy we booked with Capt. Tim!

The captain was professional, knowledgeable, and worked hard from start to finish to put us on fish. He made sure we were comfortable, answered all of our questions, and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere that made the day even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend booking with Get lost Charters.

We had three people fishing, ranging from brand new to seasoned pro. Captain Tim knew exaxctly how to coach each person to make sure we knew how to cast and where to cast. If you couldn’t get your cast right he’d help you. He also kept the trip entertaining the whole time.

We brought our 3 year old with us and we all had a super great time. We caught lots if Snapper and Spot fish which were perfect for bringing home to cook up for the rest of our trip. 10/10 recomend Captain Tim and we will definitely be booking with him again on our next trip!

Mangrove Snapper Bites Nearshore & Reef

August is mangrove snapper season. This is when the fish spawn. So there are tons of them on the patch reefs on the near shore at the jetty on the inshores, and at the coral reefs offshore don't miss a chance to catch this delicious fish!

If the Sheepshead are something you're looking to catch and I mean Xtra large ones, then book a nearshore trip with us. The bite is hot and fish are aggressive.

The nearshore Bite has been a good one! A mix of Spanish mackerel on the large size pushing 30 inches. sheep's head and mangrove snappers. customers enjoyed nonstop action. Look at sea conditions and when Favorable (1 ft to 2 ft Preferred) book a nearshore trip!

Big bite heating up

Offshore- the 80 to 90 ft ledge outside of ft pierce has produced some nice kings and dolphin. Sailfish are hanging around to the south
I've heard of a strong bite in the Stuart and Jupiter area. Seas have been rough. They will begin to lay down as we approach April.
Inshore- the bite has stayed strong in the river red fish and trout being found in deeper waters. Try fish structure around docks on the high tides with gulp swimming mullet and live bait. Snook bite has been consistent around the bridges and inlets on trolling lures and live bait.

Hot spring bite!

What a beautiful last couple of days on the Indian River Lagoon. Winds have calmed down and the bite has picked up. With weather in the mid to upper 70's. I'm looking forward to the next week being the same. Big Mangrove snapper moved into the inshore! Spanish mackerel are still around as well as the Sheepshead. Glad to see the pompano are starting to get into the action along with a wide variety of other fish. Spotted sea trout and reds are hitting early morning with the sunrise using live bait and artificial top water lures. grouper season is only a month away! Mr. gag grouper made an appearance yesterday!
