Heath specializes in Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, Flounder, and Trout fishing. He also has a 'client first' mentality that is much appreciated by his guests and will make you remember your trip with him forever.

Uscita di pesca di mezza giornata (AM) Cappasante • 4 adultiHeath è stato una guida eccezionale per la prima uscita di pesca di capesante della nostra famiglia. Mio marito, i nostri due figli preadolescenti e io ci siamo divertiti moltissimo. Ci ha portato direttamente dove si trovavano le capesante e siamo riusciti a raggiungere il limite di cattura! L'imbarcazione era confortevole, pulita e aveva tutto lo spazio necessario per la nostra famiglia di quattro persone. Heath è stato paziente, competente e ha reso l'intera esperienza piacevole dall'inizio alla fine. Verso la fine della nostra uscita di pesca, si è avvicinata una tempesta. Invece di tornare di corsa alla rampa di alaggio, Heath ha messo la nostra sicurezza e il nostro comfort al primo posto. Ci ha guidati lontano dalla tempesta e ha aspettato che fosse sicuro rientrare. Anche se siamo tornati più tardi del previsto, non ci ha mai messi fretta e ha comunque trovato il tempo per pulire tutte le nostre capesante. Non avremmo potuto chiedere una migliore prima esperienza di pesca alle capesante. Se stai cercando una guida esperta che si preoccupi davvero dei propri ospiti, raccomando vivamente di prenotare un'uscita di pesca con Heath. Torneremo sicuramente!

Uscita di pesca di un'intera giornata Costiera • 4 adultiIl Capitano Heath aveva una vasta conoscenza della zona locale e ci ha portato subito sui pesci. Condizioni di vento e acqua difficili, ma siamo riusciti a raggiungere i limiti di cattura di Redfish, tante trote, e siamo riusciti a portare a bordo qualche esemplare mostruoso! Ottima uscita di pesca e la stiamo già ripianificando.

Uscita di pesca di mezza giornata (AM) Cappasante • 4 adultiIl Capitano Heath è stato molto disponibile quando abbiamo dovuto cambiare la nostra prenotazione a causa delle tempeste estive della Florida. Si è persino svegliato alle 5 del mattino per confermare che la nostra uscita era pronta prima che ci mettessimo in strada. Abbiamo trovato un bel po' di cappasante alla nostra seconda tappa. Heath non ci ha mai fatto sentire di avere fretta, ci siamo sempre sentiti al sicuro, ci siamo divertiti e non abbiamo dovuto pulire le cappasante!

Ci siamo comunque divertiti tantissimo. La comunicazione del capitano e' stata eccellente sia prima che durante l'uscita di pesca. La prossima volta prenotiamo un'uscita di pesca con lui. Lo consiglio assolutamente. Ricordatevi di indossare una maglia anti-UV mentre raccogliete le cappasante.

Uscita di pesca di mezza giornata (PM) Cappasante • 3 adultiIo e i miei amici ci siamo divertiti tantissimo durante questa uscita per la raccolta delle cappasante. Il Capitano Heath era molto rilassato e davvero esperto nel trovare le cappasante tra le alghe. Alla fine ne abbiamo prese tantissime! L'anno prossimo prenoteremo sicuramente di nuovo con lui!

Charlotte Harbor Fishing Report

It has been a roller coaster ride fishing in Charlotte harbor this year. The spring proved to be outstanding and when we moved into summer we had one of the worst red tide we have seen in years. Summer proved difficult to find clean water and keep bait alive but we found ways to get it done. Now we are into fall and the fishing has been pretty good. The water has cleared up and there is plenty of life in it. On my last few trips I have targeted redfish and have had pretty good results and seeing good numbers of redfish. In my scouting I am also pleased in the number of snook I am seeing and the size of snook I am seeing. I am seeing small snook as well as big breeder snook and again seeing good numbers of both. If you are planning on fishing the Charlotte Harbor or Boca Grand area don't hesitate or be reluctant our waters are clear. Charlotte Harbor Fishing Report

We are catching a variety of fish on our charters (snook,mangrove snapper,jacks and trout) are all typical catches right now. Red tide is still around but the fish are biting around Bull Bay and Turtle Bay with no sign of dead fish. As we move forward through August and into September I am hopeful the water will start to clear up and the bite will get even better. So if you have the desire to fish now is a good time to get out and catch some. Keep in mind Charlotte Harbor was hit hard by red tide I highly encourage catch and release. Fishing in Charlotte Harbor

It has been tough dealing with the red tide here in the harbor but still catching a variety of fish. Bait has been the biggest problem. It has been plentiful to get but keeping it alive crossing the harbor can be tough. Besides that the bite has been pretty good. We have been catching snook, trout,mangrove snapper and flounder. Don't let the red tide keep you in call me and catch some fish.

Red tide and Fishing in Boca Grande and

All the talk in southwest Florida is about the red tide and how it is affecting our sea life. It has done a lot of damage for sure and it is still here in areas around Boca Grande. On the positive side there is still some bait around and fish to catch. I have had to change the way I do things but still catching fish on every trip. On a recent trip I had to bait up twice due to running through an area with red tide and it killed my bait. I did what any other captain would do and picked up my clients and went to catch more bait. Although I don't like to catch bait with clients on board it had to be done. They were very understanding of the situation and very helpful with the process of catching bait. When we finally got to fishing it turned out to be an epic day. We caught a lot of fish and 6 different species including a 35 inch snook. I would say it was a successful day. So if you are wanting to fish the Boca Grande area you can with success. Till next time tight lines my friends.
