Well I got into a bad work accident, I decided if I was going to die at work I rather die fishing! So I opened a charter business and got my captains license. I like to fish because it's not a team sport: you don't need anyone to do it and when you add people it just gets better! My favorite species are Snook, Reds, and Cobia .

Joey Flats Fishing Everglades 5 ore • 3 adulti • 2 bambiniI booked a trip with Captain Joey to celebrate my son‘s 13th birthday. He did a great job checking in with us before the trip. Everything we needed on the boat was ready to go. He did a great job explaining to us the history of the national park as well as sharing some stories of when he fished this area when he was younger. Every spot he took us to was a great spot for fishing. When the spot ran a little cold, he was ready to move onto the next spot. My son had a great birthday and so did his cousin who we also brought along for the trip. I can’t thank him enough. I highly recommend that you book your trip with Captain Joey.

Joey Flats Fishing Everglades 4 ore • 2 adultiWe had a great time fishing with Joey. He worked very hard to help us catch fish and carefully explained the best fishing spots and how to cast. He was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the trip. We really appreciated his effort and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Everglades as well. It was a memorable experience and I would definitely recommend this trip.

Joey Flats Fishing Everglades 5 ore • 2 adultiThe mostbimportant aspectbof a fishimg excursion is the captain of your ship, and Captain Joey is hands down one of the most genuine and altruistic human beings I have ever met. He made my son and I feel right at home. He knew his territory lime the bavk of his hand and modified the trip to satisfy all of our goals which not only included catchimg several different species of fish but also experiencing the unique aspects of the Everglades. Captain Joey ensured that we coaught fish but also went above and beyond to make sure we made it to an Eco tour we had pre planned in the park. Because we were pushing our time limit to make it to the Eco tour, Captain Joey met us after we finished our Eco tour to give us fish that we had caught to take home to cook up that night! This was truly above and beyond what was expected of a guide! His actions illustrated his character and his business acumen! I would recommend Captain Joey to anybody 1000 times over!

Joey Flats Fishing Everglades 5 ore • 2 adulti • 1 bambinoMy daughter and I were looking forward to this day trip to get to know the Everglades. The trip didn’t disappoint a single bit! Captain Joey is super experienced and knows all the best spots to fish, and is very friendly and always willing to help us, to make sure we had the best experience. We caught A LOT OF FISH! Snooks, snappers, catfish, saw a few sharks and dolphins too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

He will make you feel like you are apart of his family and accommodate for any needs. He also knows some super loaded spots, our lines were tight more often than not. 10/10 experience, thank you again Captain Jose, I will see you again next time I am in the area.

We caught snapper Jack it was just a really fun day out there. this young gentleman totally changed my mind on artificial bait. Great day on the water in Everglades national Park. Today was awesome. The weather was beautiful and the fish were biting it always warms my heart when a family gets on the water and does extremely well not just fishing but with themselves. Had a lovely time out on the water with this beautiful family the other day we caught tons of snook, snapper and speckle sea trout. It was a morning half day trip 4 1/2 hours and we fished the whole time everyone enjoyed themselves not to mention even the littlest one on the boat caught a fish all by herself I want to thank you guys for choosing joey flats everglades fishing charters and I really hope to see you in the near future thank you guys Captain

What a beautiful day in the Everglades, it was i had a half day charter with two fly fisherman from Philadelphia. The day started off nice caught a couple of trout in the backcountry then one of them said they always wanted to see the shark river and we ended up going to the shark river for a couple of hours to finish ended up catching a lot of snapper and speckled trout. After the trip, I laid their catch and they had the local restaurant inside Everglades national Park Cook the fish. What a lovely feast they had. I appreciate your business. Great Everglades birthday, Fishing Trip

Incredible day on the water fishing the Everglades with Kirk on his birthday. We started about 8 AM in the morning drove down to flamingo boat ramp in Everglades national Park in Homestead, which is a 38 mile drive into the park down to the boat ramp, I dropped the boat in the water at the boat ramp, and we proceeded to start our day fishing Everglades National Park first place we stopped we got a couple mangrove snappers and a nice snook . we moved through Joe’s River heading to Ponce de Leon and the shark river to fish for snook and tarpon. We stopped along the way at a little spot that I have for snappers and boy did we clean house we must’ve caught at least 9 to 10 snappers 13 to 14 inches for my clients to take home for dinner. We finished up there and headed to the shark river where we caught a bunch more snappers sheep, head, and black drum before we knew it time was flying by and we had to head back to the boat dock .what an incredible trip we had a special one because it was Kirk‘s birthday and he caught all of his target species.
